The bizarre tale begins at 10:30 p.m. on April 21 as three 17-year-olds, Bill Bartlett, Mike Mazzocca and Andy Brodie, are driving north on Farm Street. Bartlett, who's behind the wheel of a Volkswagen, spots something creeping along a low wall of loose stones on the left side of the road. At first he thinks the image is a dog or a cat until his headlights shine on it and he realizes it's nothing he's ever seen before. The figure slowly turns its head and stares into the light, its two large, round, glassy, lidless eyes shining brightly "like two orange marbles."

This newspaper article is important for multiple reasons. The town of Dover is extremely wealthy and ultra private and conservative. The "Dover Demon" was seen by the police chief as well as numerous powerful affluent residents. The powers that be tried to make the talk of the sightings go away, but a local paper ran the story. Others then came forward and stated they saw this Alien Creature in broad daylight the next morning.

The Dover Demon is somewhat similar to an Alien Grey. Its watermelon-shaped head, resting at the top of a thin neck, is the size of the rest of its body. Except for its oversized head, the creature is thin, with long spindly arms and legs, and large hands and feet. The skin is hairless and peach-colored and appears to have a rough texture. Like wet sandpaper. Standing no more than 3 1/2 to 4 feet tall, the figure is shaped like "a baby's body with long arms and legs." It had been making its way along the wall, its long fingers curling around the rocks, when the car lights surprised it.

The Dover Police Chief at that time spoke with my now elderly neighbor; who was then a young man, and was part of the team with the legendary Paranormal Researcher J.B. Rhine. He was told that famous residents of power and influence had seen the "Dover Demon". Although he would not disclose their names, he was told these were people of excellent character and reputation.

Now that everybody has smart phones, "pics or it didn't happen" is more relevant than ever. If somebody sees something like this again, they need to take pics and maybe even live stream it. The iPhone14 can apparently make decent photography even in low light conditions.

But smart phones didn't exist back then, so they can be forgiven for not taking pictures. It would be interesting to see pics if they had them.

It's going to be interesting when AI has the capability to create what we see, hear and eventually think.

The whole notion of "pics or vid, or it didn't happen" will become laughable.

But not funny really.

It already is useless if all we have is a single witness's photo or video.

What is not useless are mass sightings photos and videos. It's what we expect now when everybody has smart phones, and that is exactly what we got when a "giant UFO mothership" appeared over Hawaii, there were multiple photos and videos of the UFO from different angles. That is how we should already be dealing with not just AI but the prevalence of fakery in general, especially since some charlatans had monetized youtube channels promoting fake UFOs.

We Are Not Alone: Weird Lights Over Hawaii Provoke Speculation Over Alien Invaders.
Because of all the video from different angles we at least know that's not fake or AI. But, some people still had trouble figuring out what it was, and didn't believe the "official explanation".

this sounded familiar, turns out I've read about this in a book called 'strange but true stories' (in Dutch) from the early nineties

Seems like there have been more sightings the next day, there is a page about the Dover Demon on fandom wiki and more testimonies on this link

All witnesses where teenagers at the time, and all their names are in the links
I'm sure they'll talked about this more in their adult lives, gonna see if I can find newer 'testimonies' from them, I love stuff like this!

Don't bet on it as my $600 Samsung "smart" phone many times will malfunction or take a grainy pixelated UFO pictures.

For $$$ drug dealers can by a WIFI jammer. I know a cop who says that they can also jam a Game Trail Camera and satellite contact with cell phones.

So what do you think ET can do?

WIFI Jammer

You are funny!

You link to an amazon search for wifi+jammer, which for me returns 147 results, exactly zero of which are wi-fi jammers, probably because wi-fi jammers are illegal in most countries.

I did however find an interesting scam, a device that claims to be a "jammer" but then it claims to "jam" by emitting ultrasound. That won't jam anything electromagnetic so it's a scam for the credulous, heck it might not even interfere with the ultrasound your doctor is using to look at your pregnant wife's baby!

To show you how silly that idea is, I also ran a seach on amazon for antigravity+spaceship, and got 78 results! Who knew Amazon would have so many antigravity spaceships for sale? Though careful viewing again shows none of the items listed are what was searched for, just like with wifi+jammer.

Search amazon for antigravity spaceships

Anyway, there are several ways around alien jamming. Even if the aliens break the law and use a wifi jammer, that shouldn't prevent your phone from taking the picture or video and storing it locally. It would prevent you from sending it right away, or live streaming, but you can just send the photo or video later once you get away from the alien jammer.

WTF are you talking about. So I attached a sheet link as there are many more out there. Look it up. I live next door to criminals. They are now shutting down the RING WIFI and my $300 trail cams. They have cut down $1000 worth of trees and schrubs. I have an open police Case on them but the WIFI gets blasted all around this lake doe to heavy concentration of drug dealers.

Even the HOA President keeps getting his WIFI knocked off line. Two security system companies wont do WIFI. Only hardwire. A cop I spoke with said they can also jam satellite to Trail Cam.

Your not funny as this is serious sheet.

You didn't attach any "sheet", it was a search on amazon. A wifi jammer sends out electromagnetic radiation to interfere with the operation of wifi, and they are illegal so they can't sell them on Amazon.

When you say someone got knocked off line, that sounds like you're talking about a deauther device. It is not a wifi jammer and thus it is legal and can be sold on amazon, unlike wifi jammers. The nature of that device is explained by the creator on the deauther website, it can knock people off their networks but you can just log right back on, which you would not be able to do if it was a jammer. The creator claims he did the project to explore flaws with old network designs which allow logged in users to be booted off their networks too easily, and in fact there are more modern network designs not affected by these deauthorization attacks. Read about the tech at this link:

About

ESP8266 Deauther

Scan for WiFi devices, block selected connections, create dozens of networks and confuse WiFi scanners!
tip

...
Functions

Scan for WiFi networks and clients
Create docents of WiFi networks (beacon flooding)
Confuse WiFi trackers by sending fake probe requests (probe flooding)
Disconnect selected devices by sending deauth packets (deauthentication attack)

So you can knock someone off their old-style network with that deauther device, which you CAN buy on amazon, or make one yourself at home, but the way it's done is not through any kind of jamming. Words matter, and you apparently don't understand the technology when you are using words like "jammer" for a device that is not doing any actual jamming.
