I think the lack of understanding socialism and communism is not the only issue. When capatalism goes too far, people start looking for differn't
ways.
Look at the times young people are growing up in. The wealth gaps are higher than ever. Politicians are heavily influenced by corporate lobbyists, and
often create laws for corporations.
Wars and conflicts are influenced by the military industrial complex. And the mentality of get rich and die poor, is becoming prevelant.
We can't just blame young people and colleges. Put some blame on the fallacy of trickle down economics. We gave so much wealth and power to the rich,
hoping they'd spread the wealth through capatalism. But they did not, they hoarded it and used it to gain more powerful and wealth.
When any system of governance runs amok, people will start looking for alternative paths.
Ive seen a few people move to communes (communist) which have worked. Granted, communism never works large scale. People are tired of working
tirelessly to make a handful of people rich.
Maybe we can stop blaming young people and the poor for once, and take a shot at the rich.
