There are various opinions about force feeding inmates to keep them from committing suicide by starvation. Some call it torture, others call it keeping people alive. I don't find that single factor disqualifying.

Representing the people that elected you isn't controversial. The so called anti-LGBTQ legislation was passed by the Florida legislature and is the will of the people. Controversy would be vetoing it. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean he isn't doing exactly what the majority want, and that's called democracy, isn't it?

Clearly, no conservative will appeal to you. Even if it meant the candidate from your preferred party has demonstrated incompetence.

DeSantis is a popular governor in Florida that has done nothing controversial.

Allegations of participating in torturing of prisoners in GITMO. Passing controversials laws regarding LGBTQ. Also, being a hard-right conservative will attract no left-wing voters.

Plus the further you look into DeSantis, the less appealing he becomes.

I fear people will just vote blindly to Biden or DeSantis. Another puppet politician that has no intention on changing anything.

Ive often voted 3rd party. I live in CA. It's going to the democrat no matter who I vote for, so I can support a 3rd party. I believe they get federal funding if they get to a percentage of the vote.

Sometimes I do it just in protest of the 2 party system.

I dont think DeSantis will get the nomination, nor will he run independently. So we agree.

I worry that Trump will lose to Biden again. And I'm just tired of all the dang divisive constant drama!

I will be DeSantis all the way if he runs. Well respected in my part of Florida. Problem is, Trump flags are everywhere 😒. It's like I am the only Floridian who has the ability to see, that Trump ruined himself. I voted for Trump twice, unlike Trump, I clearly see that I lost once 🙄. I am pissed off his ego is so strong. I won't vote Trump even if he wins the primary and becomes the GOP candidate. Even the retarded Biden can beat Trump. Ffs, he already has. PS, nice first post.

Trump and Biden are both accused of criminality. Both are more controversial than anyone else runnning.

DeSantis is a popular governor in Florida that has done nothing controversial. His state legislature has passed bills widely supported by the voters. He has signed those bills. There are no women accusing him of sexual assault as both Biden and Trump have been. There are no accusations of being on a foreign pay-for-play scheme as both Biden and Trump have been, until Trump was exonerated just this week!

I'd say DeSantis is boring compared to either of these two.

You better believe if Desantis were to get the nomination MSM and leftists would start the allegations and witch hunts.
Doesn’t need to be true.

I feel the same. Trump could have been a great president, but his ego defeated him. And will continue to.

Never underestimate the power of denial. The hatred that has been ginned up toward Trump, he won't win again. They will cheat again, it will be believable and that will be that. Rerun.

I want fresh drama and intrique.

There has to be some basis in truth for it to be believable. But I hear what you are saying. Reality is what they say it is and men can get pregnant.

Shouldn't we be trying to elect a POTUS that isn't as divisive as Trump, Biden, and DeSantis? I don't understand the love for these people.

We have a chance to reverse the trend of electing increasingly divisive presidents. Why push these aweful candidates?

Biden is a stooge/shield/mark for communist China and dnc traitors who steal kill and destroy..
Desantis is just a cooler for America, and the world, waking up to election fraud.
Big Mike is getting a thirst for fame, and he will not abide with election fraud conspiracies.
That is his card, a dog whistle to the old guard.
Hey media, I'm safe, elect me please.

How is Trump divisive?
Isn't that a product of deep state, media and big tech collusion?

Please elaborate.

The news media is so dull/dumb/stupid, they were saying this morning that time is President Biden's friend.

CNN: "He has 18 months to build his poll numbers back up to lofty levels and win re-election!"

The passage of TIME is making Joe a worse President, you idiots.
