I believe if we don't seriously start reorganizing our # there's no hope.

I agree. We can't keep doing the same things as before because everything changes and we have to change along with it. With these 15-minute cities, if my mom was outside the city then there must be exceptions to the rule for people like me where my mom's retirement home location was without choice. If not, then that's a problem to be canvassed with officials and petitioned for resolution. These cities are a work in progress where the people should dictate how it runs.

Here’s one from Edmonton.

This is happening everywhere. A lot of people don’t have a clue how far we drive and how cold it can get here in Canada.

Edmonton has a budget of 110 million for bike paths this year. People can bike here five months out of the year.

Some drivers in North America drive further to and from work in one day than most Europeans drive in a month or a year.

Yes, the WEF, Blackrock and Wall Street really care about you. They want to make life easier and more convenient for you. That's how they operate!

We live on a 40 acre spread in the midst of 1000's of acres of farmland. When I say all my neighbors moo, I'm not being facetious in the least. It's a minimum 30 minutes at 70-80mph to what yuppies would consider any semblance of "civilization", i.e. a Walmart, an actual grocery store, Quick Trip, hell, one town even has a Starbucks.

I will be damned if I'll be forced into the confinement of such a place.

If you feel, those are your only 2 options; perhaps it's time to ask yourself....

I don't think the 15-minute cities are themselves the problem. It's very practical, efficient and simple really for many people, perhaps even most people. Especially on a day-to-day basis, when we are most likely to follow a schedule or routine.

The problem is when it is forced on everyone, including fines and penalties for traveling too much or too far outside the boundaries. There is no good reason for it.

If the 15-minute cities are planned and set up appropriately, it would be desirable to people, "build it and they will come", and there would be no reason for mandates and penalties. Those for whom it is not desirable or practical can make other arrangements for themselves.

15 minute neighbourhoods will lead to immense, widespread psychological trauma & mental illness for just about every person who is subjected to them

Nope not really, I’ll tell you why.
People would adapt really quickly.

I grew up as a Military child. Military bases are the perfect example of a 15 minute city. Everything is encompassed, housing, grocery, entertainment, schools, etc. Basically a little city. Many of us have experience this. Although it was nice to go on “the economy” I could easily see people living in the 15 cities and never complaining.

Living in Wisconsin is proof of this. Many MANY people here have never even left the state. The people that live in the northern part of the state have not visited the S or the city of Milwaukee. Many have never gone a few hours to Chicago either.

Oh geez. How can you even reason that this is a good idea?! Who benefits, except those who become even wealthier due to corrupt fines? Criminals should be confined to 15 minute cities , maybe, but even then they'll commit their crimes.
We are not criminals, why would you be okay being treated like one?
You can be the 'elites' who came up with this plan will NEVER adhere to this. They enjoy their private yahts, private planes, mulitple mansions in multiple countries.
It does not benefit anything or anyone, this is 100% about CONTROL . They want full control , these sick phychopaths.
They don't want us living happy enjoying life, they want us miserable and enslaved.

Just thinking about all those 15 minute mansions and private jets puts this into perspective.

Have you thought about your kids and what it would be like for them.
Or what about just plan ol freedom? How in the world can you be okay with this? To be fined for simply driving beyond 15 minutes from your home? UN-f*king REAL !

You have been here long enough, you should know better than this. This should, at a minimum , be about the principle.
NOBODY has the right to enforce such rules on anyone , unless that anyone is a prisoner.

Mindboggling people would go along with this. You can also be sure that this would be expanded(shrunk) more if people go along willingly with this. From 15-minutes , to 10-minutes, to 5 minutes !

Why even bother? Just sit in prison and enjoy.

last thing the world needs is to condense more people into smaller living quarters. we need to be scattering people throughout the vast lands. everybody should be far away from their neighbors as much as possible and free to live as peacefully as possibly as a family unit. only way to do it

People can't be controlled as easily then. That's the only reason for this criminal proposal , total control.

That's actually sadly the first good idea that came out of the city planers 'work group' for centuries!

Do you honestly believe that these "city planners" intend to live in these places themselves?
Are the elites going to liquidate their estates, planes, and yachts and move in?
Is Klaus Schwab going to be your neighbor?

Ever wonder how an idea like this just springs up "organically" in a number of places around the world at virtually the same time?

I guess not.

I grew up in the country as well, on the outskirts of a 3 square mile town. Closest grocery store is 30 minutes west. I lived in a big city for about 8 years and I hated it with a passion, found a house on the same road I grew up on and have been there since.

Here's a pic of the edge of my town.

I love it!! Beautiful country skies! Those that don’t live in the country can’t understand.
The air in the city is so stagnant. It’s fun for a night or two but not a good way to live!

Excuse me : but here is ABSOLUTE PROOF that FMC's™ will be awesome !

ATS :
Scientific Proof that 15-Minute-Cities™ will be awesome

They have totally screwed-up this city, by closing one lane on two-lane streets, to put-in useless bike-paths.

Ten-twenty cars and trucks, sitting in a one-lane line-up, all idling and polluting, because the car in front can't turn right, because it's the totally unused in winter bike-lane, that has a green light.

BTW : it's my understanding that the WEF™ is only one arm of the octopus in control.
They run only the Carrot™ department.

Why was an unelected Organization™ with " Economic™ " as their middle name, in charge of the Scamdemic™ ?
Carrots™.

Why is an unelected Organization™ with " Economic™ " as their middle name, in charge of the Climate-Change™ ?
Carrots™.

Some of the greatest wealth transfers in History™.
But The WEF™ don't run everything.
Just the Business™ aspect, especially in how it deals with the Plebes™.

The octopus has other arms, that deal with other levels of " Finance™ " .

Well, obviously in a snow-laden wintery city they need to tweak the flow of traffic according to the weather.

But They™ don't do what They™ need to do, or should do :
They™ just do what They™ want to do.

Their™ Agendas™ are not connected to how things are, and how things work.
They™ have Ideas™, then They™ attempt to bend reality to match Their™ insane mental images.

The only intelligence involved, is the artificial kind ...
