The Disinformation Governance Board Is Out. The “Foreign Malign Influence Center”
Is In.
It's almost as if we could have predicted this from a 'playbook.'
When the government began it's move to acquiesce to the globalist agenda to establish universal monitoring of all human conversations on the internet,
it began with a familiar refrain reinforced by a declared national emergency full of disinformation (mostly their own disinformation.)
The Disinformation Governance Board was to contend with the apparently unexpected massive disinformation problem arising from citizens rejecting the
prominently echoed narrative... essentially the bulk of the citizenry found that trying to confront disinformation foisted upon them from their own
authorities makes all dissenters "disinformation" peddlers. Adding the usual threats of other unnamed citizens posing a direct threat in their "white
supremacy" efforts... a topic revived by our sitting president in a most recent speech... imagine that.
The memery that followed was most unfortunate for their efforts, as people jokingly referred to it as "The Ministry of Truth" alluding to Orwell's
"1984."
Long story short, the idea had to be ditched like a bad marketing campaign.
Now the next attempt surfaces... they have fallen back to a more effective notional enemy... "anybody else."
The “Foreign Malign Influence Center” will be the "new" office of technocrats, bureaucrats, and political appointees who will ensure our safety
against any information they have not sanctioned, and find 'threatening.'
Now, this is what the FMIC has to say for – and about itself – the threat from abroad is constant and “dynamic” – no doubt – but
therefore, “informing efforts to counter it requires constant attention, a whole-of-government approach, support from the private sector, and
engagement from the public.”
Clearly we need
another set of useless middlemen to allow someone to do something they aren't doing now... which is anything.
In the included graphic a text from the newly demonstrates clearly what no one wants to ask... and will just accept as a bullet point on a government
graphic:
In it the center will be ...
"The primary US Government organization for analyzing and integrating all intelligence .... pertaining to foreign malign influence and election
security..."
Now I could unpack the whole wording use here such as "primary government organization" ... you mean we don't have one already? ... "all"
intelligence ... really ... like, I don't know..., just everything... anything? Whatever you want? ... and "influence" ... as in something that
might make a citizen dare to "question" policy or narrative?... and what if the person or persons disseminating the information were US citizens...
would you NOT have jurisdiction or will there be ample justification to act anyway?
This is not just a slippery slope... this is sloppy and clearly another political move to empower the eventual institution of information monitoring
for all... all directed by this "center"... another fiefdom of a political appointee... and all the attendant trappings of big tech, and private
industry insiders.
The article directly points to a migration into domestic coverage as matter of 'intentions' but that is just speculation at this point.
As a side comment I have heard assurances that our elections are rock solid and not to be questioned... why is this then necessary to include within
the mandate... is there a problem about our election integrity? Is there going to be?
The main thrust seems to be concern that foreign information affects public sentiment... but aren't we a "global" community... or is that only for
"public opinion" and the truth is they actually don't want us exposed to foreign information?
Lots of obtuse questions there... And any official first response will predictably be to include those very questions among the reason we need them to
protect us...
In the end this organization will simply be used to provide "color of law" for censorship. It is ham-handed, and under-handed at the same time... I
can't wait to see which "public sector' hook into this puppet of the control freaks of the universe.
Their motto should read "Tu tantum scies quid tibi dicamus" (You'll know only what we tell you.)
