I suppose it could be said that Buzzfeed served its purpose and no one wants to 'invest' money to keep it running. I feel for the staff who might be
left with 'settling' for new jobs which they wouldn't have wanted in the first place.
They followed the Huffington Post model of on-line news which I suppose means that "model" isn't "working" (not making money) anymore.
That world of 'designated' purveyors of "news" is full of intrigue and non-news politics now.
One less 'news' source means more homogenized news...
Isn't that nice? News without contrast, news without anything "new."
