Probably has domestic origins as there is elections coming up.

but in the day and age who knows would like to know MIM's thoughts on this, looking for more info....

www.bbc.com...

Japan's Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has been evacuated unharmed from a public event after what appeared to be a smoke bomb was thrown at him.

A man was detained at the scene in Wakayama, where Mr Kishida had been due to give a speech, local media reported.

A witness said they saw a person throwing something, followed by smoke, while another said they heard a big bang. No injuries were reported.

Video showed officers piling on top of a person, believed to be a suspect.

He was arrested on suspicion of obstruction of business and later identified by the authorities as 24-year-old Ryuji Kimura. His motivation is still unclear.

Japan's public broadcaster, NHK, quoted Mr Kishida as saying there was a "loud blast" at the venue. "Police are investigating details, but I'd like to apologise for worrying many people and causing them trouble."

NHK broadcast footage in which crowds of people appear to be running away from the scene.

The footage also shows people swarm around one man, hold him down, and then carry him away.

Hiroshi Moriyama, a member of Mr Kishida's Liberal Democratic Party, said: "That something like this happened in the middle of an election campaign that constitutes the foundation of democracy is regrettable. It's an unforgivable atrocity."

Violent attacks are extremely rare in Japan. But there is nervousness about security around politicians, after former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was shot dead while on the campaign trail last year.

Maybe the bomb contained a few packets of "corona"-jabs and the attacker wanted only to give something back to those in charge?

Jokes aside, if this really was only a smoke bomb and nothing worse like something chemical or biological, then this looks like a "last warning". Or something went wrong with the bomb, miserably constructed maybe and pooof, nothing but a cloud of smoke instead of a huge explosion.

But one thing is for sure, people around the world seem to have quite some problems with their "leaders".

Personally, I like the guy.
Sad when a leader is for the people and some nut case wants to take him out.
I don't have a tv here so I don't know what the 7 pm news is going to say about it.

Japanese people don't have much fear in their eyes these days and I hope it doesn't change.

I live in a university town and the students are full of the hope of a good future with PM leadership.

I saw the vid.

The security guard should be rewarded he was the only the one that noticed the smoke bomb.

I don´t know much about japanese politics and if this guy pretends to be a good guy or not, or if he really maybe is a good guy because the japanese system is a bit different and doesn´t "eliminate" those in the political circus who are for and not against the people.

What i see is that someone turns people against each other because someone is creating chaos with all that transformation BS. As it seems in nations on every continent. And i am afraid that the result, if it´s riots and maybe even civil wars, could be exactly what those "someones" want the masses to do. Then the criminals will pretend to be the saviors (and not as the root of all that evil of course) and put down the riots or whatever, creating new, more fascist and totalitarian rules and orders, so the their "leader" supporting fourth reich citizens can be happy obeying working drones again and act as if we would live in the best times ever. Happy about owning nothing anymore, so to say.

At the end such an attack like a bomb attack on a PM is a nice tool to divide the society and turn the people against each other. That is what i see meanwhile, everything that happens somehow favors the transformation of money from the bottom to the top at the end (first creating chaos and riots then putting them down, creating new laws and orders of course not in favor of the people...). Maybe i am too pessimistic, or too realistic, or simply too old meanwhile to believe anything anymore that happens in this horror-clown world we have to deal with meanwhile.

We will see where all that ends, rather sooner as later as i fear, it gets hotter and hotter day by day.

I am very very surprised that there have not been quite a few "attacks", "assassinations", on a number of people. Some out of pure hate, like Trump. Or some righteous, like the NWO "moles" inside virtually every Western government. And by moles I mean leaders.

You're more in tune with the Japanese political scene. How is Kishida's stance on China verses the "Constitutional Democratic Party's" candidate?

I'm getting the feeling China may have more to do with this attack then what it appears. Shadows of the Abe attack seem to be rising.
