If it's a close race, the democrats will "win".

I guess people don't get it yet. The evil leftists have won. There may be a pocket or two of sanity left in our country, but overall?

The bad guys have already won.

They can even indict a former president for crimes they haven't discovered yet.

If it's important to the evil left, democrats will "win" in Wisconsin.

What an embarrassing loss for the Republicans. This was supposed to be a close race but Protasiewicz won by 11 points.

It just goes to show that the GOP learned nothing from last year.

First, that abortion is a major issue to many people and every time a referendum comes up the right to abortion wins decisively. Second, the youth vote is here to stay and the Republicans actually need to do something to court that vote instead of insulting it every chance they get. Hell, I'm 35 and they still consider me to be part of that demographic. If the GOP can't change course, they're going to have some bad years as the number of Boomers continues to diminish and the number of Zoomers eligible to vote increases.

I don't know how the Republicans could court the young people. The mindset is so opposite of ideologies and life courses. At some point, you have to stick with what you think is right. The young pretty much have everything. Community colleges are almost free. Insurance through parents until age 26. Higher wages.

If it all balances on abortion, like I said, it's not something you can morally change your mind about in order to get votes.

In the end, if you sacrifice your morals and values, you lose your soul and that's not to be taken lightly. It's too bad that our country's divided so much by this issue.

Well Jags, seems the Democrat won the election. Not really a surprise to me....they got the machine to make that happen.

Guess Wisconsin is in for some big changes going forward and none of them good. Ever thus...it is inevitable everywhere so don't feel too bad, although, you'll likely be taxed into oblivion.

Actually, if you can earn money in the form of cash, you may be able to escape some of those taxes. Might be a good time to sell any real estate you may own as property taxes will go to the moon.

Let us know how this works out for you.

Huge win! Abortion rights win AGAIN!

I have noticed here on a ATS there are not as many an anti-women’s rights threads. Maybe at least conservatives here are getting the drift..

It wasn’t close, she won by a lot and it was indisputable.

There were some things on the ballot to draw in more Republican voters, but it didn’t work.

a reply to: JAGStorm the higher taxes part is where I’ve got an issue with your outline. Also pretty sure they have the ability to have an abortion already- just not up to the moment of birth and following.

Higher taxes..

The court leans left now, and this will impact future presidential elections too.
The more left the more taxes…

Abortion was made illegal in Wisconsin in 2022 by overturning Roe vs Wade.
