Woke Cambridge Students HATE Historian's FACTS - Rafe Heydel-Mankoo

Cambridge and Oxford Universities tend to produce the next generation of politicians and business movers and shakers , the video below is from a debate held last year at the Cambridge Union motion for debate and shows the reaction of the "next generation" as Historian , Royal commentator and consultant Rafe Heydel-Mankoo presents his well put together argument as to why the call for financial reparations from former British Colonies should be rebuffed.

They are as educated as the best in the World but their ignorance and inability to listen to that which they don't want to hear is like that of a 12 year old child being told that Santa doesn't exist. (apologies to those who believe in Santa)

The video is 12 minutes long but I'm sure it felt much longer for little Tabatha and Tarquin.

I find it odd that he made a point to mention as he said a socialist at the end. He thinks that's a good idea? But I do agree with what he had to say. Those people behind him looked like they were having a rough time with what he had to say.

He's London born but I think the family name is Polish.

I think the idea is they put up a motion and the guest argues either for or against it then it's put to a vote.

Strangely ironic , considering their hatred of British history, that they should choose to attend an event at that particular location.

I can't help but wonder how many previous students from there would be instantly cancelled when judged by modern standards.

Not a thing. That's why I'd like to hear the rebuttal.

I did a little debating in high school. We often had to argue sides we didn't necessarily agree with. I was too young to even smoke back then, but I had to argue why the government shouldn't require tobacco companies to print a health warning on cigarette packages. That was a long time ago, and I don't even remember what argument I came up with. I think it would be fun to hear the other side's argument.
