Yeah, but displaying a mashup of a 2009 tsunami warning (that also fizzled), and other archival earthquake footage, wasn't particularly 'truthy' for this non-tsunami from an earthquake 1,000 km away on deserted islands.

i'm not surprised at all. since Japan takes things like earthquakes and tsunami very seriously. and my understanding is use some of the best seismic equipment around to track such things.

I love New Zealanders, even IF their government of late is a bit totalitarian (like all the "5 Eyes" these last decades), but I'd still find it amusing if the elite a-holes who bought estates to sit out the "great reset" there all fell into earthquake caused sink holes or got swallowed up by tsunamis.
