I rather think the point is that no matter how awful you or I may think they are, or even that they may be, people are still people.

When Hitler took a dump, he just took a dump. It wasn't intrinsically different than when you sit down to take a dump. Believe it or not, Hitler just pooped, like you or me or anyone else on this forum. Likewise, when Trump takes his tea, he takes his tea. No matter how much you or I or anyone else might hate him, all he's doing is picking up a cup, pouring boiling water into it, and plunking in a tea bag, much like anyone else. The fact of who he is when he does it alters the act not one bit. The same could be said of when Joe Biden takes tea.

Or when any of *them* poop.

I know, that's why my initial reaction to the setting as it was laid out wasn't preconceived in any way which is why I found it humorous for those two specific individuals to behave so sanitized in such a sterile environment.

10/10 for the dump analogy though.

Well, mine wasn't either. I kept waiting for one of the two to sort of do the things they do that we know them as doing. Trump says or does something Trump or Biden acts like he has advanced dementia and tries to eat a spoon.

I am not a supporter of Trump or Biden. But I will participate in your exercise/construct by answering these questions:

My first thought is, thankfully, I am not having a cup of coffee with Trump. Moreover, Trump is a blend of MacArthur's megalomania and Jacksonian tendencies so I couldn't stand him. Also, if Biden could put three coherent sentences together on that occasion, I could tolerate his company for a modest amount of time.

Relating to the photo, perhaps both men discussed increased funding for cancer research. Yet Biden ensures Trump receives credit for those measures to satisfy his monster ego and secure bipartisan support. But that is a commentary on Trump's character, and I doubt Biden is smart enough to take that approach.

Lastly, how fake news media outlets covered that meeting would depend on where they sat in the political dumpster fire.
