A Man Called Otto

I had a feeling this movie was going to be good... a Tom Hanks movie rarely fails to win the hearts of his fans

Though... this movie has a special place in my heart at this time in my life.

It reminded me that everything happens for a reason.

Its not just a movie about a grumpy old man. More about how life can kick you around, but you have to get back up and try to make a difference

I can't recommend watching this great movie enough... but just a warning, you will probably cry eventually

Looking forward to it, but I can't help worry it's going to try and teach me some values about family or equity or some other bull# that doesn't matter to a proper grumpy old man.

When genuine cinema happens and audiences find it both poignant and instructive, we should give special attention to its source, in this case author Fredrik Backman whose name should be right up there with Marc Forster and Tom Hanks in media coverage.
