Left-wing "environmentalists" attack power plants and pipelines to draw attention to the "damage" such installations do to the environment. As such, they seek the support of the public at large by maximizing the financial costs to the energy industries, while minimizing the direct inconvenience suffered by the public.

This part of what you say is true. It's also true that anti-big-energy politicians would inflict a slow and insidious attack on the energy industry because they want to avoid a sudden or direct inconvenience to the public. But extremist groups are a very different story regardless of what political views they hold.

You do realize that a world without power plants and running water is far more in line with right-wing "prepper culture" than it is with left-wing "socialist Utopia" visions.

So a prepper represents the average right-winger in your mind? Lets just assume that's remotely true for a moment, being a prepper doesn't mean you want society to collapse, it means you are prepping for it. Most right-wing people I know are strong advocates of law and order and law enforcement. They also tend not to be anarchists, they respect the rules of society and they want a functioning society in which they can raise a healthy family, free from crime and danger.

The left loves to harp on about a Utopia, but that Utopia always turns out to be some sort of globalist nanny state hell hole where we have no real freedom. I find it ironic considering those on the left also tend to be more anarchistic by nature, claiming to be fighting against the man and against fascism, but then promote the most evil incarnation of big government (because socialism). Some of the most shameless fascist dictators currently on this planet are leftist politicians.

I went down the same trail as you when I first was reading about the food warehouse attacks.

Sure every year there are fires and accidents but if you start adding everything up and look at the types of places this is happening to, you will know…you will know..

Honestly that is a more probable explanation than the dumb theory they present in this video. After the US/UK blew up the Nord Stream they may have felt some retaliation was warranted. But would they really do it in an amateurish under-the-radar way that doesn't really disrupt anything for a long period of time?

Amateurish? Well, there have been a lot of grid attacks, trains derailing and food processing plant fires - ongoing. Maybe the mark of the true professional is to appear amateur.

And if you go to their respective online meeting places, you see them speak of political opponents as the biggest enemy to America.

I find it humorous, because at my place of work or other community gatherings I know people on a broad spectrum of beliefs. If I’m courteous of them, the vast majority reciprocate. They want what’s best for them and their family, and I the same. The only difference is often on how we believe we get there.

No foreign nation has the means to invade us and destroy the nation at the moment, only the American people can do that if we can’t reconcile differences.

Sad state of affairs that a very small minority would rather it all burn down than their opponents have a right to be part of the conversation in a constructive way.

No, we live in a time of hubris and hyperbole. Just left of the center? Communist. Just to the right? Nazi.

I believe the lack of hubris is a sign of how evolved a person is.

It would be so simple for we humans to live in a world where hatred does not exist and life is simple, and yet we are just too damn stupid to knock off the hate. I truly do think it's imprinted in our genetics and out of our control, because what else could explain it. Gotta kill all those people who live on the other side of the river or they will eat our food.

Why is it under attack? Because its an easy target. Terrorists attack cafe's, schools, hospitals, etc. I would really like to tune in the news some day and hear, "Today terrorists attacked the Hells Angels motorcycle club. When authorities arrived on the scene the terrorists were found hanging from trees by their testicles with the words "jihad my ass" tattooed on their foreheads."

Of course, framing this as a home-grown movement it just a false flag waiting to happen...

Why would VICE tell the truth?

I have been thinking for a couple years now that we are in a covert biological war with one country (China) but more and more I'm thinking that we are in an all out covert world war where every move is underhanded and covered up. A kind of asymmetrical warfare, but not like a David vs Goliath but more like who can get in the most sucker punches using the cheapest jabs, or a death by a thousand cuts type of strategy.

A world war in which no one takes credit for the attacks (as some terrorist group might do in asymmetrical warfare), nor does anyone take the blame either. The cover stories will be random mayhem and chaos with maybe some generic homegrown right-wing domestic terrorist MAGA republican type fall guys to point a finger at.

Modern society is complex and does need certain skills to operate. If key people are sick or dead, then the wannabees move into said positions. They have the skill and experience to do some of the jobs but not all. Look at te medical system at the moment, this would be similar over all sectors.
