Is there anything that uses a 22 blank for this purpose?

So.... is there anything legal that would use a 22 cal blank, like the one you use in a nail gun, that you can toss and would have a slight delay before it makes a loud noise?

I have some that use a trip wire for perimeter alert that are physically harmless. I'm looking for something small that you can toss and will simply make a loud noise.

Ideas? Knowledge?

yea make a zip gun and just use blanks.

When I worked in the local munitions factor it wasn't out of the norm for someone to insert their tweezers into a primed case and throw it on the lunch table-just to make sure everyone was awake and paying attention.

Or, they'd sprinkle a tiny bit of G. powder in an ashtray....

Thats not very loud.
An m-80 would scare someone. Just dont dip it into glue and then into BBs. Someone might get hurt!

22 blanks like for a starter pistol or stage prop gun are not particularly loud. More the product of being a rimfire cartridge and low powder for blanks. A 22 short blank isn’t much louder than a quality rat trap.

Having that high pitched pop go off in a hollow stump changes things a bit as it would be a deeper sound.

Ive spent the last 45 minutes looking at the 12 gage with 172 decibel Flash-bang rounds. Thats the best one! The shells are sold out everywhere online. I entered my e mail for notification of restock.

I liked the old giant bean can trick we used to do. An M 80 would blow that thing 10-12 ft in the air. Cherry bomb was even better!
