untitled (wasnt sure what to name this one.

These are a few of my first attempts at digital art. A sort of "series" (theres more) that came pouring out of me after a long lapse in painting anything.

Do you do any "manga" art ?

Actually it's a free app I used on my cheap lil chrome book. I had to use my mouse pad (or directional pad) and make the strokes by cursor. Makes it hard for any detail strokes or hand drawing since my chromebook isn't touch screen.
The name of the app is ibis paint x. Pretty good lil app. I have wondered now, since trying a shot at digital art, what I might could pull off if I had a touch screen and better control.

I hadn't painted in 30+ years. The neat thing was my color pallet came right back to me. The same colors I was using all those years ago.

The eyes are familiar and I kind of pull out a few creatures from looking at it, what I see changes depending on what I'm focusing on. The two that stand out for me is an eagle swooping in or an exotic bird dazzling with it's plumage.

The head? There's an owl in there for me.

Really nice work it all is. Whenever I've tried using software for art it ends up looking like a dodgy South park sketch haha, thanks for sharing!

Since i have two left hands when it comes to drawing/painting, I have also found that relying on software can lead to great results. I have discovered AI generated "art" to be "my thing". Have started some weeks ago, and it´s really amazing what you can create.

I´m happy to share experiences if anybody is interested.
