The McCann case (early 2007) came right about the time when the public was starting to feel "uncomfortable" with so many cameras and started to question it, particularly the huge amount of taxpayer money that was being thrown to it. At that time, there were many politicians, journalists and even civil rights associations questioning all this. Now, after Maddie McCann, these people are gone.

So, where my narrative is coming?... My own life experience. Plus, here you have a few press articles of the time reporting about how the UK was becoming a Stasi state:

Something similar happened at airport level after 9/11, all over the world, but particularly in the USA. I heard that the airport police likes to check American's buttholes since then. And apparently people seem to like it, they must be afraid of the next Osama Bin Laden....

By the looks of things also, the first 3 links ltrz2025 presented by way of evidence to support his claims have articles dated well before Madeleine McCann even went missing.

From November 2006, Aug 2004, & March 2005.

Saying or suggesting the UK CCTV networks came about or were even improved upon down to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann in Portugal amounts to complete and utter tripe by my guess.

Well if it's ""education"" your after CCTV became mainstream in most towns and cities here in the UK during the mid to late 90s.

By the time little Madeleine went missing aka 2007, CCTV systems were all over the island, and just about everywhere to be seen.

And that's not narrative but the cold hard fact of the matter.

Point of fact CCTV has been used in the UK since the turn of the 60s for the purpose of monitoring large crowds

So she's been 'outed' by her own mother.

Her mother went on to say her daughter has always wanted to be in the 'limelight' and needs psychological care.

They say the case is 'still ongoing' but I'm not sure why considering her mother said Julia herself is the one who removed her own baby pictures to support her own claims.

The family of a woman claiming to be Madeleine McCann have said they are “devastated”.

Julia Wandelt, 21, has gone viral after claiming to be Madeleine, who vanished on a family holiday to Portugal in May 2007.

Now, Julia's family in Poland have spoken out to say they have proof that she is not who she believes she is.

In a statement released via Polish missing persons organisation Missing Years Ago they said: "For us as a family it is obvious that Julia is our daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and step niece. We have memories, we have pictures.

"Julia also has these photos, because she took them from the family home with the birth certificate, as well as numerous hospital discharges.

Apparently the woman isn't bright enough or is trying to avoid DNA testing. Police could do it if she does a crime. Other than that she's just another attention whore.

I don't see his face, only a man abducting little Madeline.
This woman is just another spoiled brat, seeking attention.

I'm surprised they didn't use 'psychics' or 'mediums' at the time of Madeline McCann's disappearance -
Perhaps they did and I missed that news?

I think they did and have over the years, or at least some people claiming to be psychics or mediums have offered up their opinions as to what transpired or where she went unfortunately not very successfully or so it seems.
