I can't help thinkning that Klaus Schwabb and the WEF are just a bit too conspicuous to take entirely seriously. It maybe serves as a form of mis-direction, or a type of pressure relief valve on all the other aspects of this system.

I've wondered about the same thing, Schwab is so over the top wannabe 60's James Bond villain that he's become somewhat of a caricature.

And yet, his acolytes are to be found in most of the governments around the world as well as some very influential billionaires that are constantly in the limelight.

At some point humanity became a serious burden for the 1%.

Our heyday was over the moment our architecture became substandard, cookie-cutter, overpriced doghouse.

In South Africa, that moment began when we opened up our doors to the world.

The tribe was already here but it was with the implementation of democracy that everything became a free for all(them).

Even though its not specifically WEF, this is still referencing top players and their blasphemous behaviors.

Like your intuition there Robert and would also agree with Skyfloating's post on the previous page about everything seeming rather 'over the top'.. or like a cartoon or caricature.

Apparently 'the three legs of cover and deception are illusion, misdirection and ridicule' so when it comes to managing public perception maybe they are being used to take the heat (or focus) off other groups such as the TC, the CFR, Atlantic Council etc.. ('camouflaged by absurdity' is a phrase used in UFO research but it also may apply here).

Talking of absurdity thought there was some pretty powerful observations towards the end of this speech about how everyone initially laughed at the Nazis and didn't take them seriously.. until they started exterminating everyone they deemed inferior.

Also, talking of Nazis it turns out the World Economic Forum (originally known as the 'European Management Forum') has a rather colourful history and their 1973 Davos manifesto meeting was held under the patronage of Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands (same chap who founded Bilderberg).

Know you've probably seen it mate but there's some reading here on how his father was involved in heavy water production for Hitler - lo and behold he's also an ex Bilderberg Steering committee member and tight with the Gnomes of Basel.

Now he's popping up at a 'world government' meeting under the Arch of Baal with the Wahhabis and Chicoms - it really does all sound a bit Austin Powers.

Would say acolytes is the perfect word and apparently the WEF is saturated by members of the Trilateral Commission.

It could just be a throwaway comment but Walter Cronkrite ('the most trusted man in America') does make a weird observation towards the end of this speech.

Likewise, thought the article below was an interesting one as it claims Walter Cronkrite is the voice of 'the Owl' you can hear through the loudspeakers at the ceremony.
