yes, I get it, you impose your sick approach on gender on your kids, because you don't trust sexed. it's not new, these backward religious fanatics have been around longer than sexed and their kids got taken out of class for the most backwards reason.
do you think there is a difference between the genitals and the roles imposed by society regarding these genitals ?
Can you think beyond your vulva or penis on who you are and who you want to be?
Are you afraid of feminine men, or is it masculine women that scare you?
Should your penis or vulva define your behaviors in society?

so biology is just bullsh!t?

Biology is just biology. Gender roles are just gender roles.

Gender roles are not biology.

But Bull# is also biology, well spotted

Why do we dress according to our genitals?

Women have dressed the same as men for years.

Right it seems men have a much harder time allowing feminine expression than women have allowing masculine expression.

Why do you think that is?

a reply to: Terpene
I don't think that's true.

Men can wear dresses.....like the Romans did.....and the Scottish kilt.

Women don't have a problem with what men wear.
It's men coming into their safe spaces, that they don't like.

I don't think women who wear mens clothing, is them expressing masculinity.

So, is a kilt an expression of male or female? You see how these associations are purely made in the mind and can vary greatly.

Cloth are the most superficial aspect of the gender role and most dichotomous culture have a gender code for clothing, less archaic Culture seem to have mostly broken these codes.
this discourse however goes a little deeper, to places of self reflection, and the roles installed by society.

Maybe 10 steps before itsnowagain, you certainly went trough it on your way home.

Why does it change and who defines it? Will it ever stop changing?

How is this grooming?

I just watched it. One of the kids was first to bring up non-binary. Another kid said "they" all before the teacher even said anything.

It's not -- it's paranoia from adults as we've seen before.

My kid (15) openly talks about non-binary as he says most of his friends are or accept non-binary.

It is their generation -- not the parents. And parents should understand this.

Everyone is groomed by words and labels.

Are you a label?
Can anyone really get in a box and stay there?

All is in constant change.

I watched an interview with Maisie Williams yesterday and she spoke of the confusion she went through about who and what she was......feeling like a liar because no matter what you say you are.....you aren't at other times.

I agree.

I specifically remember my mom telling me after I was older that she raised me without prejudice -- because it did not belong in my generation.

She understood what/how she was raised was her generation -- but mine was not hers.

I love this: "You aren't at other times".

My kid tells me he's a video game character, much the same way I thought I was a super hero at his age.

Doesn't make either cases true.

Just because you lot stayed behind the curve on sex ed you can't expect the rest of the world to share your ignorance.

I mean I get it ignorance must be blissful for the snowflakes. No Melting on public properties

My lot ?
You are hilarious .

What exactly is "my lot" ?
You don't have an answer do you ?
That shows tremendous ignorance to group folks without even knowing them .
By the way , where I am at , words like "your lot" is considered to bigoted at the least .

I hate to break it to you but it is not 1930. No one is making a scandal because women wear pants or anyone wears anything they want. You have to realize that the people who are going to blatantly, loudly make a scene in public about an obvious man wearing a dress (having a beard, etc) are much much more rare than you are probably assuming and those people are also attention seeking just like the community I referenced in my previous comment.

Attention seeking behavior like this is not normal. Everyone should just mind their own business and keep their private lives private. No one cares.

NO.

I'm on my 4th generation of raising kids.

Each generation evolves. Well -- most do -- some remain stuck.

This is zero concern for me because I would never put my child in a public school. Parents. If this bothers you, home school your child. End of story.
