Voting Control?

This sounds very good in theory, but will electronic voting lead to tampering in an easier way with our vote??

It willlead to our down fall, and it is exactly why they want to make it electric. Remember the days when voting had to be done in a booth with pen and paper? Maybe you don't...but we never had counting problems back then. And if there was a problem,
it was easy to seperate Mr. Wang from Mr. Chung. And then see who's stack was thicker.

I agree, sadly we as a nation are too large now for voting to be done "properly" which is why it SHOULD remain up to the Electoral College.

In masonry it's impossible to tamper with the voting, but you can't do that with such a large population, as voting of such manner would take forever, or would require too many pricincts.

At the end of the day if you can't see your voting slip being counted, then you have no gaurantee that you are getting a correct count. electronic voting is a once only situation, no comback if you think it is falsified.

Because of that the laborous hand voting is still best.

However if they did introduce electronic voting and fiddled the results, then they would probably do that under the old system anyway, and the false election would only be the outside manifestation of a far greater rot and problem in society, than just one time of electronic cheating.

Basically if they cheat, they are gonna do it no matter what system you use. And if they DO cheat then you are in greater # than just that cheating episode, as the collaborators must be many and powerful.

Nah, all they have to do is pay off the counters in one state. As was proven...or is voteing just a scam to make the people think they are in control? It seems to be the later. And that would be the easiest way to maintain appearences.

Yes, Advisor, I do remember voting the old fashioned way. That is why this concerns me.

Again, our Lawyers in Charge are using one fiasco to forment another. I have heard that there can be no record as some naively assume there to be of your vote once downloaded. Tampering on a cosmic scale! Not to mention tracing of ones vote- no longer anonymous and safe.

I do not mean for this to rage into an anti-American thread, thank you.

I am looking into how this(and it might be conspiracy forum material eventually) practice world wide may eventually subdue, if not remove our voice.

I see it as a means of control for all democratic nations in the future-England too.
