ive been compelled to say this to those of us interested in the ufo phenomenon, be careful of what and who you listen to

you rill here people say i have a masters in this and bachelors in that but for some reason with all that education they dont know what hell is going on, how can that be?

but even worse are the religious people who say hey i go to church every week, i pray, i tithes, etc., therefore the nhis are demons and the ufo community are occultists, oh really? the reality is most religious people are fake, theyre usually horrible people with all kinds of phobias hiding behind the name of the creator or creators of the universe, in other words theyre hypocrites, none of them can understand the bible nor interpret it properly but most people dont know one way or the other so they just accept their word, its sad and pathetic, were not occultists we just want to know the facts and truth regarding the ufo phenomenon

how about skeptics and debunkers, i think skeptism can be healthy, i mean i believe when i see it approach makes total sense, wheres the facts and i make my own analysis thank you very much very understandable but debunking is trying to convince people that they arent seeing what they saw, that this all can be explained away by misidentification of mundane things there now run along little children, the problem is its not the mundane things were focused on, there are people with top secret intelligence clearences who have been dropping hints for decades leading us along to this day that theres a there there but not everyone can take a hint i guess, by the way if i didnt belive the evidence of the ufo phenomenon i sure wouldnt one second trying to convince others theres nothing to it, so why are they wasting there time, i dont get it

how about the media, arent they meant to inform the public of facts? not berate or ridicule or misinform us, i mean some people are confused enough as it is, in every group or organization or whatever you have the good, bad, and ugly of human behavior, most try to do the right thing and others have agendas, encourage the good ones and critique the others, its only fair

how about scientists, i dont know about you but if i was one and i became aware of this field i would say if the govt admits its real what can i do to help them figure out what this all about using scientific protocols? remember fake people are fake people, they hide behind their labels but in the end they cant see truth if it came down and smacked them into reality

as alot of people know by now the ufo community is made of people from all backgrounds, with many perspectives, and many struggles in life, many new comers are arriving daily on the truth train and they are more than welcome, they are reading books, watching documentaries, discussing it on social media and with family and friends and im sure they will ponder what does this all mean? who are we really as human beings on this planet in a universe of billions of planets? we are not occultists you fool we are owed the truth and facts thats all, and we will all come to our own conclusions, isnt that fair enough

my question to yall is does our conscious come to us at birth and leave at our death? do we fly around inhabiting other bodies or vessels somewhere else in the universe? or are we just some replicating genetic code of some sort? please comment below thank you and good night

I think this fits the rant forum better than the UFO forum, but I'll try to answer your question as honestly as possible.

Nobody knows; not you, not me, not science, not priests- but everybody has a guess or belief.

TFYI: There's a religion forum where you can find topics that discuss your questions in depth if you're interested.

There are few points that hit most UFO/Alien encounters, they take many forms.
In alleged encounters they almost always use deception and half truths, tricksters. They operate in secret often in the cover of night. They draw blood and perform sexual acts. They mutilate. They do not ask concent. They seem completely indifferent in most interactions. They can control the emotions of those they contact instilling comfort or fear. There have been accounts of interactions for almost all of humanity’s history. They can alter the perception of time.

I am sure they have had many names, aliens, demons, gods, astral spirits, tricksters. They seems to exist im our reality yet follow none of realities rules.

Flesh and blood? Maybe. Constructs of the mind? Perhaps. Inhabitants of spaces between, who knows.

I get the feeling they don’t have our best interests at heart, nothing that requires secrecy and obfuscation of the truth does.

I'll share.
So, I'm a believer in God, Jesus, Holy Spirit etc. However, I am not the type that finds my own self righteousness thru church attendance or tithes, but I do know exactly the type you mentioned. And yes, so much hypocrisy there. I've studied the Bible for years and have read and studied all of the lost books. I've read everything I could find and have even read on different religions etc. I found that "going to church" has little to do with my relationship with God, and more of my relationship with the people. Which no, did not fulfill me at all, Spiritually speaking that is. It's more like that was grade school teaching, and I had to figure out the rest on my own. My point: I believe in a creator but I'm someone who is more Spiritual than religious. Religion is a snare. But moving on to my point. I also have a scientific mind and am a realist. I love astronomy and space and all those other planets and stars and how much potential for other life forms to be outt there. Even in my faith I can wrap my mind around that a creator could easily have other life on any of the billions of planets out there. I asked the question, why would He create all that and not use it. It's only logical that God (or an intelligent creator) would utilize its own creation to the fullest. Makes sense to me. But you're right. You try and tell that to old time religion folk and just because it's not in the Bible they think that it's impossible. That's foolishness to think that just because something like that isn't in the Bible it cannot be. Very small minded thinking (imo2). So yeah, you won't get much validation of thought from them. And you're exactly right, most of them don't even know or really understand the Bible. It takes Help to understand those deep things.

Now, to answer your posted question. I will answer you in what I believe to be an answer.

To start, you as a spirit have been around a long time. Apparently chosen before the creation even began, and that same spirit resides in you. It's your life force, so to speak. Your individuality. The thing that makes you you; which is so different from everyone else, and yet, so much the same. If we were all created, then we are all connected. Be it light or dark. If, say, there were other life out there, and we were all created by the same God, then we too are connected, even across the vastness of space and time. Now, since your spirit is older than time, and we are going thru this period of transformation from these fleshly bodies to our Spiritual bodies (which are light btw. We are beings of light), and even tho this flesh will die, your spirit will live forever.
I'll speak for how I see it for myself. I'm washed in the Blood baptized with the Holy Spirit. Which means I have Help (guidance, comfort) while I walk this life out in the flesh. Once I'm transformed thru my death, the worries burdens woes and scars will all leave me. As I leave my flesh body behind I will be freed from it's cage and transform into a being of light and will live forever (somewhere. Not really sure what "heaven" will actually be like. I think it'll be the original design, garden of eden style foreverness. No fighting, no abuse, no prickly things to jab yourself on, no sweating to earn your food, no more being at the mercy of TPTB that care nothing for us, but in a land of real equality. All equal, but different. But this is hard to imagine. This where faith comes in for things like that.
And my theory on some of the stuff we classify as "alien" could very well be the work of angels or demons. They are "beings from another world." But I am still open minded on the endless possibilities of what else might be out there. One things for sure, whatever it is ...it's gonna be cool.

These are merely my beliefs though. Many will see it many many different ways. And what a great place this would actually be if we could share our thoughts like this without the fear of being verbally attacked for them.

Anyways, my two cents worth.

Debunking is not telling people they didn't see what they saw, it's either explaining why their interpretation of what they saw is incorrect, or proving that their claim is a flat out fabrication and they never saw it in the first place.

I stay away from religious zealots, it's none of my business whether others are religious or not, but I don't want them pushing their beliefs on me.
I like to believe in facts, and after observing one of these flying crafts myself, I have to believe that there must be many other civilizations in our huge universe. We can't possibly be the only life form. Even the planet Mars had water at one time in the distant past. I think that aliens are as curious about us, as we are about them.
I don't appreciate the world governments covering up facts and throwing silly excuses at us to explain sightings of odd things in our skies. One hundred years ago, Nikola Tesla was talking about the possibility of life on other planets.
As for the afterlife, who really knows - but it seems strange that the dead can be contacted at times, and I know they do contact the living from time to time.

Consciousness?

I'd like to think it's a manifestation of thought and experience. Anything before birth is just guess work in my mind, memories of past lives or claims of knowing the unknown are unprovable.

When it comes to ufology or anything paranormal I've come across too many people who attempted to explain things as if they know. Some even went as far as "explaining" my own sightings to me.

I guess what I'm saying is trying to answer consciousness will have you chasing your own tail, trying to answer ufology is akin to someone teaching you how to chase your own tail. But what sits directly under the tail? Yeah... Just try not to be one of those

Nobody really has answers they just have bags of belief and often enough huge egos. If you really want to learn figure out how to spot them and put em at the back where A-holes belong.

Where consciousness resides may very well be connected to the quantum realm.

Best to hedge one's bet imho.

Put it this way, at the end of this existence, if you are wrong, you are never going to know.......and if you are correct, well the universe is a big place, and if it's infinite, then anything is possible.

Don't confuse deception with people's false memories or believing in hallucinations as being consciously made up by the extraterrestial/UFO experiencer, because these are real to them. So it's not really deception per se, rather many factors go in to a person forming an opinion of what is real and what isn't.

The same can be said for the media as confirmation bias and/or ascertainment bias will steer one's existing belief system of what is real and what is not real and nothing, no amount of proof, will be able to change their minds. So how one's belief system is when collecting data is the main factor when determining in fact what is true or not.

Ascertainment bias is a systematic distortion in measuring the true frequency of a phenomenon due to the way in which the data are collected.

Government deception has been a reality but I believe more so with clandestine past projects aimed at testing on humans. I say this only because I see the evidence that government seems to always puts it's most energy and money into warfare and the economy. And with the recent news that gov't can't identify some UAPs and has formed a team of astrophysicists to investigate these objects, tells me they are only looking for rock or man-made objects that may threaten their country. Anything other than these two criteria and they don't have a clue.

Deception with contactees is very complicated to identify because if they suffer trauma their mind will compensate in ways that is complex - don't underestimate the flight, freeze, fight processes. I always listened to skeptics side but they always fail in their analysis in certain areas, specifically explaining away encounters using psychology/mental disorders.

As for consciousness flying around, I'd say if you believe in the existence of a soul then this is the eternal energy floating around, whether or not is has consciousness in that state, who knows? If one considers an out of body experience as a soul/consciousness flight then your beliefs will steer your reality.

In my experience the more you try to understand consciousness and reality you start to loose your mind i really don't think we are anywhere near being able to understand anything about reality. a reply to: RAY1990

quintessentone makes good points about objectivity, everyone can't be right and most people dislike being wrong.

As individuals on our own journeys maybe we shouldn't be calling out all the sights and ascribing names and functions given by others.

The losing of one's mind is something I associate with stress and emotional discomfort which might just tie in with the never being wrong thing. Neither the mind or reality actually change in nature I'd assume, what changes is the state of the mind and perception.

If the nature of all things is change I'd say static is the only change to be weary of. Apply that info to oneself and reality and you might find you don't know yourself or reality...

One of them you can work out with observance and experience, the other requires much more than an individual. It's the conclusion I come to.

So yeah, be nice (if possible) interact and learn. The going crazy thing is probably down to taking things a little too serious. Admittedly that'll happen with extremely bad experiences which usually causes people to reflect and question things... Chasing tails.
