I'll share.
So, I'm a believer in God, Jesus, Holy Spirit etc. However, I am not the type that finds my own self righteousness thru church attendance or tithes,
but I do know exactly the type you mentioned. And yes, so much hypocrisy there. I've studied the Bible for years and have read and studied all of the
lost books. I've read everything I could find and have even read on different religions etc. I found that "going to church" has little to do with my
relationship with God, and more of my relationship with the people. Which no, did not fulfill me at all, Spiritually speaking that is. It's more like
that was grade school teaching, and I had to figure out the rest on my own. My point: I believe in a creator but I'm someone who is more Spiritual
than religious. Religion is a snare. But moving on to my point. I also have a scientific mind and am a realist. I love astronomy and space and all
those other planets and stars and how much potential for other life forms to be outt there. Even in my faith I can wrap my mind around that a creator
could easily have other life on any of the billions of planets out there. I asked the question, why would He create all that and not use it. It's only
logical that God (or an intelligent creator) would utilize its own creation to the fullest. Makes sense to me. But you're right. You try and tell that
to old time religion folk and just because it's not in the Bible they think that it's impossible. That's foolishness to think that just because
something like that isn't in the Bible it cannot be. Very small minded thinking (imo2). So yeah, you won't get much validation of thought from them.
And you're exactly right, most of them don't even know or really understand the Bible. It takes Help to understand those deep things.
Now, to answer your posted question. I will answer you in what I
believe to be an answer.
To start, you as a spirit have been around a long time. Apparently chosen before the creation even began, and that same spirit resides in you. It's
your life force, so to speak. Your individuality. The thing that makes you you; which is so different from everyone else, and yet, so much the same.
If we were all created, then we are all connected. Be it light or dark. If, say, there were other life out there, and we were all created by the same
God, then we too are connected, even across the vastness of space and time. Now, since your spirit is older than time, and we are going thru this
period of
transformation from these fleshly bodies to our Spiritual bodies (which are light btw. We are beings of light), and even tho this
flesh will die, your spirit will live forever.
I'll speak for how I see it for myself. I'm washed in the Blood baptized with the Holy Spirit. Which means I have Help (guidance, comfort) while I
walk this life out in the flesh. Once I'm transformed thru my death, the worries burdens woes and scars will all leave me. As I leave my flesh body
behind I will be freed from it's cage and transform into a being of light and will live forever (somewhere. Not really sure what "heaven" will
actually be like. I think it'll be the original design, garden of eden style foreverness. No fighting, no abuse, no prickly things to jab yourself on,
no sweating to earn your food, no more being at the mercy of TPTB that care nothing for us, but in a land of real equality. All equal, but different.
But this is hard to imagine. This where faith comes in for things like that.
And my theory on some of the stuff we classify as "alien" could very well be the work of angels or demons. They are "beings from another world." But I
am still open minded on the endless possibilities of what else might be out there. One things for sure, whatever it is ...it's gonna be cool.
These are merely my beliefs though. Many will see it many many different ways. And what a great place this would actually be if we could share our
thoughts like this without the fear of being verbally attacked for them.
Anyways, my two cents worth.
