New York Tells Migrants We Don’t Have Room For You

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The mayor of New York traveled to the Mexican border city of El Paso on Sunday and declared that "there is no room in New York" for busloads of migrants being sent to America's most populous city. Eric Adams, a Democrat, was also critical of the administration of Democratic U.S. President Joe Biden, saying "now is the time for the national government to do its job" about the immigrant crisis at America's southern border.

Democrats wanted migrants until they actually had to deal with them, now they are left with egg on the face big time.
It’s a problem, one that has been around for as long as I can remember.
America has a love for cheap, and sometimes illegal labor but hates to admit who is doing this labor.
I think it’s time we need to come to terms with it.

One thing is for sure, both Democrat and Republicans can both agree they don’t have the capacity to feed/clothe/shelter any more people.

So now what?!!!

Honestly, it sounds like squeaky wheel syndrome to me.

Whether they can or can't, or want to or don't want to, they still want those fed bucks and this is a perfect reason to ask for them.

No matter how you look at it, we're all going to be paying to ensure migrants have shelter and a better life in America than our growing number of 'unhoused' citizens.

Mayor Eric Adams‘ administration has been forced to shell out $275 million in a contract with the Hotel Association of New York City to house at least 5,000 migrants as waves of asylum seekers continue to land in the city from the southern border,
The “emergency” agreement between the city Department of Homeless Services and the Hotel Association puts the city on the hook for as much as $55,000 per migrant that lands in town.

The group represents nearly 300 city hotels with 80,000 rooms. He said the Hotel Association put in a formal bid to provide shelter.

Dandapani said “entire hotels” will be set aside for migrants, while adding that the number of hotels and rooms set aside — and the number of migrants to be sheltered — remains “a moving target.”

“It’s a crime to be throwing out so much food,” he said.

Other images show a hotel room littered with empty beer cans and bottles following a wild World Cup viewing party in November, Rodriguez said.

Looking at the pictures while reading that link speaks volumes about what is happening!

We have thousands of homeless on the streets in Eugene and Portland and I wonder why we (U.S.) is doing this?

$500 a night? That's incredible...unacceptable...and shameful!

Americans are begging for food and 'immigrants' are tossing it out. America isn't alone in exalting illegal immigrants to the highest status which makes it appear to be a well-laid plan. So what's the end goal? To get everybody fighting amongst themselves for population reduction?
