Progressives seem to believe that anything that THEY find offensive or the catch all term "Non-Inclusive" to THEM should be banned or snuffed out. Kind of like what they used to complain about when the US was a Christian nation but that does not compute in their minds.

They are now the REAL religious zealots rivaling religions because it IS their religion.

Blasphemy!

Crush and Silence the Heretics & Unbelievers!

And they don't even get that is exactly what they are doing....

So, while I don't agree with this at all, The Mall is within their right to deny service to a certain degree.

And we need to make sure that we have the full story.

twitter.com...

From the twitter video it seems the man wearing the shirt has been escorted from the property before for preaching on mall property. The man says, "I was preaching the gospel that day". And now he's come back with a bright yellow shirt with Jesus saves on it. It's possible that they know who he is and viewed his returning with the shirt as more preaching.

I would of let things slide as long as he wasn't preaching on mall property. But we don't know how many times he's been kicked off the property for this.

People are being conditioned in the popular media to be 'reactive' to each other.

Policy says that whatever they define as "proselytizing" is, in fact, "proselytizing."

But they won't hesitate for a moment when people proselytize "Nike," "Gucci," or "Green Peace."

They get to select their targets and offer them discomfort and confrontation without needing to think because: Policy.

This is the 'little' step towards complete prejudice. Take enough of them, and you're there.

If his T-shirt simply read 'Jesus Saves' - no problem but the back of his shirt says opposite Jesus' hopes and teaching for us all. Every time I go shopping I see a large sign on someone's property that reads the same, no missing it. Not a problem.

And on the day of judgement those who do good things will rise up, those than have done vile things to a resurrection of judgement - the final judgement.

It does not say only Christians who believe.

Well, according to the "clip", the guy had shown up several days in a row, and was loudly preaching at shoppers, which caused numerous complaints from venders and shoppers, and they had to remove him, several days in a row. The guy keeps saying that he hasn't said anything "today". The security guard says, and I paraphrase, "Okay take off your shirt then, and we'll be fine.", but the guy wouldn't.

And if it had been a Muslim instead.

This thread would be having a different conversation.

Then why are they asking him to take off his shirt?

Yeah....

As a good will gesture to prove his intent not to harass shoppers and venders, like he has the past several days in a row.

You dont have the right to not be offended, what he did the day prior or even several days prior doesnt matter.

If the guy was being quiet just wearing a shirt that hurt someones feels on the day of the video, get over it grow some thicker skin.

If he was making a scene then the discussion should have been about making a scene and having to leave because of that..

Sounds more like a little man with some power wanted to flex on someone to me.

The sound is (deliberately) messed up, so that it's hard to hear what the security guard is actually saying. You need to put on earphones to really hear what the security guard is patently saying to the guy.

Obnoxious Christians playing the victim card. I wouldn't expect any else from The Blaze.

If you've had to be removed several days in a row, I would not expect you to be allowed back at all, let alone in the same stinky preacher shirt that he'd been wearing all those several days in a row. The fact that they gave him the option to take the shirt off shows the security guard's Christian charity.

Really for anyone to say they are offended is an offence of feelz. Minor compared to the offence on the man wearing a t shirt, ordering him to remove it. That is a physical offence.

I guess newspeak has arrived.

There should soon be a manual and classroom instruction coming soon.

We will soon have venues of formal instruction on what can be said, what can't be said, whom you are allowed to offend, and those that we shall not.

Newspeak. It is here. The punishments will be advancing. Criminalization for thoughtcrimes, monitored by cell phones, cameras, and rewards for any that report.

Newspeak is a controlled language of simplified grammar and restricted vocabulary designed to limit the individual's ability to think and articulate "subversive" concepts such as personal identity, self-expression, and free will.

Yes, tolerance and co-existence but not with tyranny and those money-changers are tyrant-like aren't they?

Yep, I would have gotten a ban after the first day... But hey let them have their moment of being the victim, it seems a enjoyable theme to them. It's absolutely inconceivable that a christian can be a PITA, he must be the victim of cancel culture
And as nugget1 observed, what comes around goes around, but did that violent cancel culture come around for christianity yet, or is that what's happening ATM?

LOL...

No.

If he wasnt banned because of the other days, he had every right to be there, and his shirt is a piss poor reason to remove someone.

It could have been a praise satan shirt and I would still feel that way, its a form of expression that once upon a time people used to accept and move on with their day.
