The people in the mall who complained didn't take a neutral position though, they put their complaints to the management to deal with it.

You just jumped form the philosophical to the real and misapplied what I intended.

Philosophically, the people who complained did intend violence as a potential result. A person violating mall policy can choose to escalate the situation into violence. Not everyone simply odes as they are told... most attempt to escape bad consequences.

Realistically, a complaint is not cause to remove someone or to deny them access. a complaint is cause to investigate to see if the complaint is legitimate. That's a Karen move there, to jump directly from complaint to punishment. Reality does not work that way; if it did, then simple offense would be cause for imprisonment regardless of how minor or unwarranted it is. A person could be ejected for wearing a "COEXIST" shirt... as I explained, it offends me because of how it has been used.

It is possible for anyone to take great offense at anything. That doesn't make it punishable. You are advocating chaos.

It went beyond that to cross out universality, gender equality and peace in the world, along with the religious cross. It's nonsensical to the message he thinks he is trying to relay.

It's a symbol. Is your belief system so weak and frail as to be damaged by looking at a symbol? If so, I suggest you search deeper for something more substantial.

Well, that's not the whole story.

He had been previously banned for proselytizing on the private property.

People complained.

He came back with this shirt on. He was stopped in the mall because of his history.

The guard expected him to be proselytizing again - in the mall. So told him to take shirt off (he had a long sleeve shirt underneath.

He was within a short time allowed to continue in the mall with shirt.

But he's "on the list".

Now mall preacher guy, named Paul Shoro, is saying if he was allowed to hand out his 'gospel tract' to the mall shooter, the shooter would have been instantly delivered from evil and he would have what? simply went home, all's well now.

Also his supporters will be going to that mall wearing 'Jesus goes to the mall' t-shirts.

Shoro and the YouTube user, Kingdom Bizness, then discussed a fatal shooting that occurred at the mall on Dec. 23.

Shoro then said, "If they didn't suspend me, if they didn't stop me from preaching and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, the shooting would not have happened."

There you go again, trying to make things into what they are not.

Would I defend someone for wearing that t-shirt and being asked to leave? Yes, I would. Would I think he's out of line and offensive? Yes, I would, but I have this ability to look the other way and ignore his ignorant butt.

Would I defend him for making a scene by antagonizing people? No; I would probably be standing there ready to help the guards physically carry his hiney out of the mall and dump him unceremoniously on the sidewalk. There is a world of difference between wearing a shirt I find offensive and creating a disturbance. That's something people like you need to at least try to understand... once you learn to actually read what is posted.
