It’s all about Travis Taylor….

Source: Pentagon UFO study led by researcher who believes in the supernatural

Critics dumbfounded by reality TV star Travis Taylor's position as “chief scientist”

Taylor’s critics are simply astonished by what they call his antiscientific embrace of the supernatural—and the Pentagon’s willingness to work with him. "I'm starting to see why [the government's] task force was so unsuccessful in identifying its UAPs!" wrote Robert Sheaffer, a UFO skeptic and author, on his blog.

UFOlogy ….what a Circle Jerk Circus

Some satirical humor if I may….

In addition…there’s these stories you may want to look up…

Will the taxpayers ever know how much this study is going to cost us?

Some-most- of the people given gov positions in this administration make no sense-unless they're just trying to uplift the mentally challenged.

It could be worse; they could have chosen Giorgio Tsoukalos.

One thing I don't like about all these government "studies" is the lack of field action.

The US Military recorded radar data on an incoming interstellar meteorite in 2014, they know down to about 100 square miles of where it landed in the ocean near Papua New Guinea.

So... They went there and looked for it, right? Or they're planning on it, with some of their new programs, right?

Nope. Third party, Avi Loeb and his research team are doing it. The government isn't doing squat.

Surely they'll open up data from the more interesting UAP cases, for the public right? Because the NASA committee studying UAP's is limited to only declassified information...
Nope.

They have additional information that is classified, in regards to UAP, this is publicly acknowledged.
Yet, they're limiting what their committees and study teams that are supposed to be looking into this phenomena have access to. So why are we spending tax dollars on it at all, if we're just going to hamstring the results by lack of access?

My favorite example is the Nimitz Tic Tac encounters. We know that NORAD had to have gotten radar data on it. The USS Princeton got radar recordings of it. The two F-18's must have gotten something.
Yet all the public got was firsthand testimony from 2 pilots and a radar operator.
Which means that all the NASA committee can use is this declassified testimonial information, although the more detailed tangible radar data MUST exist.

I have no faith in any US Government Agency and it's ability to adequately investigate the UAP phenomena for a multitude of reasons and these are just some of them.

Honestly, I'm not even surprised when someone like the Pentagon makes a questionable, potential misstep like this one. At least they're doing something, I guess.

US Government, US Military, either get serious about solving the UAP question or not. Open all data, or open none and forget about it. You won't solve this by "guesses" from experts. And that's all you're going to get if you can't give them ALL the data. You won't get anywhere without field work, and actually looking for these things. Acquire DATA. Investigate interstellar objects that approach Earth. The odds of interstellar objects coming into this solar system and hitting anything but the orbit of the Sun or Jupiter, is astronomical. If something comes here, we need to follow up on it. Why is some random Harvard professor doing the legwork (ON DONATIONS) that my tax dollars should be doing?!?!

Not sure why some would be critical of a belief in the supernatural. UFO's themselves are supernatural. There are all kind of oddities associated with the phenomena as well, to believe in them simply means you have an open mind about it. IMO this isn't as simple as all being aliens from other planets, there's many things likely involved aside from 'space brothers'. Likely much stranger

Remember, it's only paranormal until it's explained and understood, then it becomes normal.

I'm no longer able to give any credence to "produced" UFO material featuring talking-head celebrities and other government sources who couldn't be forthcoming even if they wanted to.

The only consolation I take in this activity is that they are showing their interest in controlling the narrative. Which tells this little birdie that they are far from 'in control.'

Yes, Mr Taylor likes to flash his education and research experience ( as do the TV shows he stars in) but when he is asked hard questions he thumbs his nose or just doesn’t answer.

Great YouTube show from New York Post “The Basement Office” 5 part series ( 4 parts are viewable now) about Skinwalker Ranch where Taylor is the “Chief Scientist “ I believe. But for the Basement Office show Taylor would not participate because of the hard questions .

www.youtube.com...

Part 4 really exposes the silliness happening out at Skinwalker Ranch

Another story about T.T.

The Travis Taylor Saga Grows Stranger and Stupider 6/30/2022

While the Pentagon began to “de-conflict” Taylor in 2021, he only left government service two months ago, when he immediately joined Radiance, a defense contractor, telling George Knapp in a May interview that he did so in order to continue to the work—paranormal and otherwise—that he had started at UAPTF. Shortly after, Radiance hired Taylor’s former UAPTF boss John Stratton—who believes he is haunted by Skinwalker Ranch dogmen—and the two now work together at Radiance.

And this…..he actually still works for the Government but as a contractor…..

Dr. Travis S. Taylor Joins Radiance Technologies

About Radiance Technologies: Radiance Technologies is an employee-owned small business prime contractor founded in 1999. Radiance has over 900 employee-owners across the United States serving the Department of Defense, national intelligence community and other government agencies. From concepts to capabilities, Radiance leads the way in developing customer-focused solutions in the areas of cyber security, systems engineering, prototyping and integration as well as operational and strategic intelligence including scientific and technical intelligence.

One thing I’ll say about him ….. he proved out a couple of Tesla’s theories in the 1 season only, Tesla Files. I was impressed. Other than that….ehhhhh

I wish him well on his next Journey….

Nothing wrong with that. Most serious UFO researchers have come to the conclusion that UFOs are not simply mechanical devices from space. As Jacques Vallee has often stated. We are encountering a phenomenon that wants us to BELIEVE they are aliens from space. The idea makes sense to us because we are a near-space faring species who has grown up with Star Trek as an integral part of our popular culture. In the past faeries may have assumed the same role.

The point is that we are not going to understand this phenomenon until we admit the supernatural as part of the answer. That does NOT mean Jesus or God or angels and satan. It DOES mean that there is a part of our reality that we do not understand that goes beyond classic physics and a strictly material view of the universe. Those who insist on that sort of interpretation and deride those who suggest there is more to this than their equations are doomed to failure. Those folks are not part of the solution here.

I will take everything ufo sceptic say with a grain of salt. Let's face it the fact the government was involved with investigating SkinWalker ranch is telling. Obviously we the public are not told anything of any substance.

It is my understanding Skinwalker was picked up for a 4th season and had started filming last August 2022.

T.T. joined Radiance on or about April of 2022.

The question is….will he still be included in the SWR activities for season 4 even though he has a “regular” job with Radiance?

If Radiance let’s him also participate at SWR…..then effectively T.T., could still be feeding the Government, SWR intel via his employer Radiance….which is a Government contractor.

He’ll just be reporting through a different channel. In this way, the Government will have its fingers in the Paranormal still.

It’s a shell shuffle game…

Undoubtedly…..Radiance is private and is not subject to FOIA requests! And as well will have it’s own NDA’s policy and procedures….which will muffle muzzle T.T. from public transparency.

Hmmmm

Emphasis mine.

I don't like the word "supernatural" because it brings out the woo-woo crowd.
You are right in what you just said, scientists need to accept and understand there are aspects to physics and realities etc that they do not understand, and yes, you're also right, that does not make it spiritual.

The problem is how it's brought up to the public. The public is dumb. They'll hear supernatural and think ghosts and dieties.

They need to find a new word to be honest

ETA
It's an old saying but imagine how a caveman would see a television
with his lack of understanding of physics and possible technologies outside of caveman-understanding, he would think the people in the box were spiritual beings. That is very much analogous to the UAP phenomenon.

Misstep, or misdirection? When they point in one direction, look towards the other. They'll play confuse the goose all day with the general public.
Anything related to ufology with Uncle Sam's fingerprints on it, I take with a grain of salt. The only thing they are focused on is whether or not the phenomena are a threat, and how they can weaponize it once they figure out what it is.

Perhaps, of course, as those who replied before me have alluded to, there is clearly something beyond the scientific knowledge of humans at play in many instances. What would the government want with that? To utilize it, of course.
Meanwhile, any reports of unidentified technology of any origin, man-made or not, fabricated or not (yes, some investigations come up with nothing but a massive goose egg), they want to be the first ones to figure out how to get power from it. Watch out for the government--they're not out to deliver any truths to anyone. I can guarantee that.
