IS THE POPE EMBALMED?

Just wondering,
A news source has reported that the Pope would not be embalmed or have any bodily fluids removed . Is there any truth to this?If there is why would they not embalm him, is this a normal procedure for such a religious figure or was this just bad news reporting?

The pope cannot be embalmed because they plan to canonize him.

... and generally, if you have lived a relatively healthy life and treated your body with respect, why would you want to fill it with poison as you depart from it?
