Back in March of this year, Russians occupied Bucha, west of Kiev.

Once the Russians left and Ukranian authorities went in, accusations of indiscriminate killings started coming out with photo's used to back up the claims. The Russians responded, saying the bodies had been placed there and the photos taken after they'd left. I believed this was the case also - I was wrong and my attitude towards the Russians has soured since.

What happened in Bucha
Horrifying footage shows evidence of war crimes

NYT released the result of an 8months long investigation today that puts an identity to the unit and the soldiers responsible. This wasn't just any investigation, and it isn't typical of your mainstream media BS. This was done using OSINT skills which resulted in a pretty conclusive result.

But an eight-month visual investigation by The New York Times concluded that the perpetrators of the massacre along Yablunska Street were Russian paratroopers from the 234th Air Assault Regiment led by Lt. Col. Artyom Gorodilov.

Warning, this is a pretty heavy report and contains images of deceased.
www.nytimes.com...

What the Russian soldiers did was not only barbaric, but incredibly STUPID. I'm pretty confident that after the killings were made public, orders from higher ups came down pretty quickly

1. '' Do not, under any circumstance take the mobile phones of civilians you just murdered and pass them around your unit making calls home ''

2. '' Destroy every CCTV camera ''

Here's a few snippets:
CCTV from Bucha used to see soldiers marching off soon to be executed civilians.

Ukranian Drones were over the town the whole time and recorded it all

Soldiers from the 234th Unit about to shoot cctv cameras

Markings identifying a Russian Tank Unit operating in the area

As far as wars go, this is NOT even close. It's more of a guerilla insurgency on both sides but with upper class weaponry.

Ukrainian forces executed Russian soldiers as well! AND NO, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO DID IT FIRST before you even go there!🙄 The fact is that both sides are garbage to the tenth degree and I'm not in the least shocked.....hell,.....I'm not even interested.

I believe seeing a story that Putin give some sort of medals or something to that same unit that was doing the horriblle crimes in Bucha. So he's response was to thank the soldiers ....

there was never any doubt, and all those that defended these POS russian bastards should be ashamed and for supporting them and burn in hell. there is evidence of the torture and murder of civilians everywhere russian troops occupied.

no need to be killing defenseless civilians, who are just trying to avoid being killed and survive.

So how does one explain a full scale military invasion of a neighbor with no real support, just an ongoing evolving justification..It seriously does matter who hit first..I remember when schools started punishing both kids in a fight no matter who started it..I didn't understand it then and I don't understand it now..Ukraine had nowhere to run..and yup its gonna get away more brutal on both sides, especially if Belarus gets dragged into the fray…that's my reasoning for my desire for airstrikes on Russian military..I just think its the humane approach..give plenty of warning, and Putin be damned..I think it would work…I think Russia would withdraw or Putin would be assassinated before our first fighter left the ground..If the World knew we were serious.

I know it seems like that would be playing right into Putins hand…but I don't think he actually knows what he wants..just making it up as he goes…lets give it to him.

And Yes it is certainly possible this was Putins line of thinking..must acknowledge this because we lowlings have extremely unreliable intel and are fed shi% on a regular basis

My main question remains to be. Why did Putin not bring everything to the table and at least create the illusion of necessity from the outset? The obvious answer is pure arrogance. Whats the CORRECT answer?

Look, I empathize with a country struggling to maintain their sovereignty against a far more powerful enemy. I’ve even argued that when my own country was the belligerent.

I’m not even a fan of our level of involvement now. I understand why we’re doing it, but it’s almost like we’re the only ones “helping” when this is a Europe problem… and they’re sitting on their hands.

But direct involvement shouldn’t even be a consideration. You’re talking about putting the whole world at risk. Not only that, but direct involvement would basically just turn Ukraine into the epicenter of WWIII, and you can just go ahead and chalk them up as gone.

It’s easy to feel sorry for someone, but you have to separate emotion when discussions of policy are brought up.

People still believe this BS story?

All the info here comes directly from Kiev. No independent investigators were ever let in the area.

Ukraine has brutalized it's own citizens for almost a decade now. Yet people are so ready to believe Russia wanted to risk nato entering the conflict by carrying out a war crime like this. Occams razor would tell us otherwise.

Russian troops has been specifically told by Putin to minimize civilian casualties and damage, and they have done that admirably. Ukraine has lots to gain from this suspected "war crime" where as Russia has everything to lose. It's really pretty easy to deduce who carried this out. I don't need unreliable satellite/drone imagery given by an unreliable source to figure this one out.

Common sense is all you need to decipher most of this propaganda coming from Ukraine and Russia. One thing I'll give Ukraine their informational warfare is strong. Unlike their front line...

What are the odds that this NYT investigation was perfectly timed to coincide with Zelenskyy's visit ...

This investigation seems to focus more on casualties from the first few days when the Russians first pulled into Bucha .... Not the original outrage narrative that the Russian massacred everyone before they left.

New York Times posted a video from Maxar satellite. They claimed that the recording was made over Bucha on March 19

the video for NYT was probably filmed on or after March 31st.

“Rybar” checked the angle of declination of the sun above the horizon, using the program SunCalc and was able to find out the exact time when the picture was taken. According to the them, it was taken on April 1, at 11 am GMT.

Russian troops left Bucha on March 30, this is confirmed by the Ukrainian officials

The city of Bucha has been liberated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The city is being cleared from saboteurs and accomplices of Russian forces.’

Concordant with the "investigation" they would have had a good idea who was collaborating with the Russians on Yablunska Street .

Of course You are correct. I didn't want to send one bullet to Ukraine..unless it was from the business end of a weapon..and I would venture to say Im not the only Westerner that feels this way..and every one of those Westerners has no problem with the emotion switch either, if our leaders don't have a rectal cranium impaction.

Concession..Risk is far too great..but many are suffering..as always..suck it up, and see what happens.

Maybe since there are so many other oppressed that nothing is done for, I dig it.

sidenote..Mr. Putins security is not all that..even his closest..they possess an element our guys do not because of their raising, but without emotion they're no obstacle, they're suicidal. Now as for the oligarchs and generals with fingers on buttons..so there's just a few jerks in bunkers holding the cards?..so even if we did no emotion Putin, it wouldn't matter because he doesn't have the football..im still coming to the same conclusion..bring everybody home and let em fly…

realistically though, maybe this is the last gasp of an old dinosaur trying to get a belly full before extinction and all those old Ukrainian ladies that trained with cardboard Aks were just too slow..The way of things..hopefully future generations in the Ukraine remember their Grammas…they will…so on to all the other injustice we can't do much about..cofee?

A lot of bad things have been done by both sides. There are some Russian soldiers that are loose cannons. I talked to a friend of mine that fought in Vietnam and he told me some of the things that American soldiers had done and that he did not like what he saw going on there. But he told me that you do not say anything or you wind up dead either by one of those loose cannons shooting you or because they let you get killed by the enemy if you say anything.

That is one of the bad things about war, people will shoot everyone sometimes if they feel they are a threat to their survival and also there are people on both sides that just love to kill people. I personally am glad I did not have to fight in a war, I heard some of my fathers stories from WW11 and I was glad there was no war going on that would require me to get drafted when I was eighteen. If I would have been drafted, I would have went but with my diagnosed tachycardia I probably would have had an office job or because I was in Pre-med, I would probably had a medical worker job anyway.

I have a friend over in Ukraine right now helping with rescues, victim recovery, and training. Bucha was one of those places he worked. The crap he's seen, and had reported to him, is plain nuts.
