The IFR of Covid-19 was estimated long time ago before the vaccines were rolled out, by a very credible scientist at Stanford and his team.

In addition the infection fatality rates vary according to the age group one belongs to

0.0003% - 0-19yrs
0.003% - 20-29yrs
0.011% - 30-39yrs
0.035% - 40-49yrs
0.129% - 50-59yrs
0.501% - 60-69yrs

If you are in the 0-19 age group your chances of dying from Covid are 3 in a million. If you are in the 20-29 age group the chances are 3 in 100,000 and if you are in the 30-39 age group the chances are 1 in 10,000.

If you are young and healthy without comorbidities the chances you die from Covid are effectively zero.

It seems there is no much benefit from the Covid vaccines to those who have miniscule chances of dying from Covid. On the contrary the risks in many cases can outweigh the benefits
