Again,
colonialists selling their goods
to those that are not interested in outdated
dusty-cowboy culture.
Am I the only true
Canadian here ?
Seems so.

They tried it in rural GA, local Sherriff got word what was coming and spread the word when antifa showed up they were met with a whole gaggle of armed to the teeth red necks.

Sherriff according to a friend that was there said yall behave and good night, then him and his deputies left.

Antifa was polite and left, red necks laughed had a beer and went home.

more than a few cases even with a media decidedly against guns that have been reported on where a good civilian with a gun stopped a mass shooting shortly after it got started before the police arrived.

But sure keep believing your propaganda.

Oh and I live in an area where cops might be an hour away, I could encounter a pissed off moose or bear anytime I enter the woods, and if I am really unlucky a wolverine.

Yes you see how that goes... I need gunz to protect me from the criminal with gunz,... Close your eyes count to three and you're the criminal with gunz... What now? shoot yourself? Lol

Then there is a question for the God fearing people... You will have to come up with a very good reason, for taking a live when it was yours on the line...
Ahem yes God...you sent that criminal my way how could you not, i know it was your will, but i just clipped him, sorry to mess up your work, but believe me in this case I knew better what was the right thing to do... There is no such thing as self-defense before god your life isn't worth more, death is part of God's plan, not yours.

Man keep believing that this is normal and good, mass shootings every other week, burglar that dont bring guns because they know there is one in the bedside table top drawer anyways, first thing they get is the gun...

I guess the power over life and death is intoxicating and we're just seeing the last phase of it. From here it looks really sick and twisted, but as with all intoxicated individuals they can't see it themselves... Really sad

I'll give your logic a shot... guns will solve gun violence.... I can barely say that out aloud without chuckling...

In the first place, you didn't give anything a "shot"; you just thought it was cool to clam you did. It wasn't.

In the second place, you got the logic all wrong. Guns don't solve gun violence. Guns in the hands of good people stop gun violence when it starts. Nothing else does. No one has started a mass shooting, then suddenly decided against it of their own volition. They were either shot with a gun, or they were placed in fear of being shot with a gun and apprehended.

You can claim that you're one of those special people who will never face a gun. That's fine; I hope you never do. I also hope I never have a wildfire start here, but I'll be damned if I am going to lobby against having a fire department ready to stop one if it does happen. Bad things happen to good people all the time. There are just bad people in the world, and if no one stands up to them, they can hurt a lot of people.

My gun has saved my rear before from one of those bad people, and I didn't even have to fire it. As soon as he saw the flash of metal, he was gone. Good thing too, because at that moment in time, I would not have had the slightest hesitation of turning his temple into ground round.

Now, I'll add in what I experienced with the BLM/Antifa riots: they tried it here, too, with two "rallies." One was at the local Walmart, the other at the County Courthouse. The bus pulled up near the courthouse, the protestors rioters got out, they started their "protest" and realized that everyone around them was armed. They politely went back to their bus and left. They never even stopped by Walmart. I guess someone needed the piles of bricks; they disappeared after a few days.

You are free to never touch a gun if you don't want to. No skin off my back; would probably be a good idea. But when you decide you want to take mine? Come get it. Bring body bags. Your paranoia is not my responsibility.

God is not bound by your ignorance of His Word.

Talk about paranoias... You love these mental scenario don't you? No wonders gunz make you feel save...

I'm sure you're not meant to judge who's got to live and who doesn't... I'm sure you're not meant to judge at all....

But hey, that's just me right?
You'll see every judgment you ever did will be there on that balance, and the mean part, it doesn't even matter if it was a positive or negative judgment.

You'll have a lot of fun, going trough that stage.

Apparently, the shooter claimed the building's electrical room was making him sick. He was suing the condo board because they wouldn't do anything about it.

There were also reports of him threatening other residents.

I don't.

The guy who attacked me, had he not left immediately, would not be dead over any decision I made. He would be dead over a decision he made. God didn't send him along my path, either; he sent himself along my path. Free will, dude.

*shakes head sadly*

Ah, how much you know that you do not know.

How on earth can an electrical room be making someone sick?

Sounds like he was living on the edge and finally slipped off the deep end.

Probably the same complaints as people who live near high energy power lines.

I'm not familiar with it myself, but they claim there are negative effects.

I see holier that though...

First it was not guns that shoot people, but people who shoot people. That's a logic I can follow.
Are you telling me now it's the shot person that shoot themselves, that's a new one for me lol...

Oh boy logic... Sure logic... Let's repeat it enough and it might sound logic... Logic? Sounds logic already... You shot him, but he did shoot himself. You didn't shoot him?
You can twist it anyway you want your fears of death are no argument for taking another one's live.

You make a perfect sheep for your Shepard. Don't be surprised about the slaughter house...

No, I am saying the shot criminal made decisions that led to his being shot.

You shot him, but he did shoot himself. You didn't shoot him?

You're the one twisting things here.

Firstly, if someone decides to go play on the Interstate in rush hour traffic and gets hit by a car, that is an accident; the driver did not intend to hit him, and may have even tried to avoid him. But cars simply cannot maneuver as fast as a person. No one would say he hit himself with a car either, but he did take actions that led to someone else hitting him with a car.

Same principle. Actions have consequences. Sometimes those consequences are bad, and we try to convince people to not take actions that can lead to bad consequences. However, people have free will and no one can protect anyone from themselves for very long.

Secondly, the consequences of threatening the life of another is that they will likely try to preserve their own life over the attacker's. That's just common sense. You can say here, on an Internet message board, that you believe there is "no excuse for taking another's life, even at the expense of one's own life," but we both know that is absolute hogwash. You would try to protect your life as much as anyone else if it came down to it. Don't even go there.

The consequence of attacking me is that I attack back. That is more certain than playing on an interstate at rush hour will get one run over by a car. And there is nothing in the Bible that says I should do otherwise.

Keep believing the propaganda...

Propaganda?

You know something funny.

Remember when Antifa and BLM wreaked so much havok on Seattle and Portland? Burning buildings down attacking and killing people, destroying property, setting up an "autonomous zone"?

Yeah that same group of people, decided they were going to bus over here to good ol Boise Idaho and attempt the same thing, they even had people set out stashes of bricks in dif places along their route.

Well, problem is, Idaho is a right to carry state, you dont even have to have a license.

Well when that big ol group of Antifa and BLM ran up against a virtual armada of Armed citizens who said "no thanks", they decided that they were going to be on their best behavior, and that maybe this place wasnt a great place to attempt their antics again.

They had their little rally which lasted a few hours (it was suppose to last a week) and they all got on their busses and went home

So no offense, but dont sit here and tell me that guns and armed people dont discourage violence.

Also

Not to "pull rank" here, but ive been in far far far too many positions where being armed made the difference.
Anyone who says other wise is either living in a fantasy land that, quite honestly I would LOVE were true, or they are lying to themselves.

Um....what, lol?

Washington Has Guns Too

The rest of your post was so much lol, I don't even know where to begin. I'll start by informing you that people in Washington most certainly do have guns. We just don't worship them. Or believe that having them wards off all manner of attack.

No, Antifa didn't "try" to come to Idaho, or any other mostly rural area to start crap. What showed up in small towns were a bunch of Elmer Fudd wannabees who believed some online nonsense that "Antifa and BLM were coming to get them". It actually happened locally, in one of the smaller rural towns near me. The only problems they had were the Proud Bois showing up.

Guns do not make us safer, either. If that were the case, America, a country with more guns than people, would be a crimeless utopia. It is not. While I don't believe our high rate of violent crime is directly due to gun ownership, I also don't believe that owning guns makes a place safer.

I am not opposed to guns, or people owning them. I have owned them in the past, and will likely own some again in the future. But the mythology that has been developed around guns in this country is ridiculous, and embarrassing for gun owners who look at their firearms as tools, not sacred talismans of some weird firearms cult. The problem in this country is not necessarily guns, but our attitudes towards violence and aggression, which are purely toxic.
