Italian doctors and nurses who refused to get vaccinated against COVID-19 can now return to work

Several thousand unvaccinated health workers in hospitals and nursing homes will be able to work again across Italy after a government decision.

Italian doctors and nurses suspended over their refusal to be vaccinated against COVID-19 can now return to work, Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said on Monday.

Italy become the first country in Europe to make it obligatory for healthcare workers to be vaccinated, ruling in 2021 that they must have the jab or be transferred to other roles or suspended without pay.

That obligation had been set to expire in December, but was brought forward to Tuesday due to "a shortage of medical and health personnel", Health Minister Orazio Schillaci said.

Some common sense is always very refreshing. It seems that there are attempts in other countries around the world to re-employ those who were dismissed or suspended due to the most absurd and ludicrous campaign of mass and mandatory vaccinations the world has even seen.

Note that in the article a reference is made to the first ever female prime minister, Ms Peloni, who belongs to the right part of the ideological spectrum. She wants to terminate immediately some of the very absurd and irrational policies of her predecessors (left and leftish) who have created a massive problem in the Italian healthcare system i.e staff shortages. Some 4,000 healthcare workers could have their jobs back.

And all this in the name of an untested, experimental, and potentially hazardous product, which doesn't prevent transmission or infection, doesn't significantly reduce them either, but it is known for its serious adverse reactions that it could cause as well as deaths.

Hats off to the nurses, doctors, and other professionals in the healthcare system in Italy who didn't succumb to the pressures and coercion, giving the finger to the most absurd and ludicrous vaccine campaign ever.

considering they were constantly exposed and most likely already had natural immunity it was insanity to keep them from work over a political decision.

Good on Italy.

With back pay? I’m sure many of these people didn’t sit around waiting and got other employment.

If Italy really wants them back they should make it worth their while.

Everyone in private enterprise, government, military, who was let go because they were wise enough to avoid these experimental drugs, should be offered reemployment, with back pay.

Those who are working somewhere else now, should be able to sue that employer for being discriminated against.

Finally some recognition that these unvaccinated people are no threat and that the threat of the healthcare systems crashing means all hands on deck are needed.

Hopefully this common sense will filter down to other countries. What a disaster has been made over virtually nothing.

A disaster in the name of science and reason...
I think there are are talks and attempts to re-employ nurses and doctors who have refused to get vaccinated in other countries. It will take time for common sense and logic to be the dominant forces again... So far we had the Covid ideology where common sense, rational thinking and reason have been suspended.

Natural Immunity?? Such thing doesn't exist according to the Covid ideology.

But...

www.science.org...

Having SARS-CoV-2 once confers much greater immunity than a vaccine

It’s a textbook example of how natural immunity is really better than vaccination,” says Charlotte Thålin, a physician and immunology researcher at Danderyd Hospital and the Karolinska Institute who studies the immune responses to SARS-CoV-2. “To my knowledge, it’s the first time [this] has really been shown in the context of COVID-19.”

Hmmm let me guess the jabbed ones are not doing good, and becoming a scarcity? Better have an unjabed medic than none at all...

You never know what happens and no much information is let out but the medical authorities. But in the article they have mentioned shortage of staff which is a very good reason to immediately re-employ professionals who are very difficult to replace.

If the requirement was set to expire, that should tell you all you need to know. If they believed it was just that essential, there would have been no expiry.

I'd love to see the healthcare workers not return just to make the point but people need to support their families so it's unlikely to happen.

A healthcare system needs the people who serve it and the people who serve others. Those who need to go are those who took the decisions to dismiss them as well as everyone else who supported them. As the matter of fact there should be legal investigations into this scandal. Professionals were dismissed in the name of a untested, experimental, and potentially hazardous vaccine.

Italy to end ban on health workers not vaccinated against Covid

MILAN, Oct 28 (Reuters) - Italian doctors and nurses suspended from work because they are not vaccinated against Covid-19 will soon be reinstated, new Health Minister Orazio Schillaci said on Friday.

The move is motivated by a worrying shortage of medical personnel together with declining cases of Covid-19. The new government will also cancel fines imposed on all people aged over 50 who had not got vaccinated, he added.

Have you spotted another absurd measure?! Fines to all those above 50 who were not vaccinated. As if the fine will change the course of history or make the vaccine safe and effective...At last some common sense.

Indeed!! The most absurd and antiscientific campaign ever. It has resulted in a large number of non Covid excess deaths and it wanted to punish nurses, doctors, and healthcare professionals who refused to get vaccinate with a range of experimental, untested, and potentially hazardous products.

Yes, well said.

It is hard to believe how corrupt the system really is.

It really is.

Many of the healthcare workers were exposed to the virus early in the pandemic and had developed natural immunity which is by far superior to the immunity induced by the vaccines. To mandate vaccinations after one is already protected the best possible way by natural infection is just stupid.

Natural immunity is indeed the best!

I knew from the start that something wasn't right about the whole thing. I am so happy that I listened to my own inner voice and therefore refused to take the vaccine.

When someone is infected and survived primary infection then he/she develops a ptotection which isn't comparable to the protection by vaccinations. They seem to argue you are 'unvaccinated', but just as most other claims made in the name of 'science', the claim is false.

Immunisation by the virus is superior.
