In the past, the type of work AARO is charged with performing now involved only reports of anomalous phenomena that were seen in the air. But that has changed. Now, AARO expects to evaluate anomalous phenomena across all domains. And that means that individuals who operate in those other domains are also free now to file UAP reports. That's something Kirkpatrick said the AARO has been working with the services on.

"[We're] working with the military departments and the Joint Staff to normalize, integrate and expand UAP reporting beyond the aviators — to all service members — including mariners, submariners and our space Guardians," Kirkpatrick said.

I think he's trying to say that they're 'transitioning' into this new AARO thing, but they haven't found anything yet.
They'll be looking at more than air stuff.
no results, but they're doing their groundwork.

anyone with knowledge of?

A new Pentagon office set up to track reports of unidentified flying objects has received “several hundreds” of new reports, but no evidence so far of alien life, the agency’s leadership told reporters Friday.

The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) was set up in July and is responsible for not only tracking unidentified objects in the sky, but also underwater or in space — or potentially an object that has the ability to move from one domain to the next.

will we ever get a list of these reports? and conclusions?

I'll have to put this AARO on my news update list

One reason for the hundreds of additional reports coming in may be the outreach the department has done to destigmatize reporting potential encounters. Each service has also established its own reporting processes, Kirkpatrick said.

translation; go ahead and report stuff, no one will think you're a dingbat.

so do they mean it? I suspect a lot of military types will continue to keep special stuff to themselves

I do find the "in the sea and under the sea" bit interesting, especially with all the claims of underwater alien bases. Do I think that's the case? Not personally, no. But I bet some folks at the DIA are pretty amused though.

Looking forward to the live stream of this UFO hunt, that is the least thing they can do spending all these resources at this "project"

Aw, it's just a test to see how well their cloaking technology is working......

I knew $865 billion was too much money for a 1 year defense budget!

They're now re-inventing the wheel (looking for UFOs) as a way to burn some of our taxpayer dollars.

How would they carry out this responsibility?

Have they got everything covered or do they solely rely on reports?

See all these weather stations? The detection devises in these units have broad capabilities; And this is just one aspect of national surveillance for all kinds of anomalies.

Ok, that's funny.

How about underwater, where do these things go when they dive?

Supposedly these things operate in complete silence if I'm not mistaken.

Looks, at least, like AARO is going to be better funded, equipped, and manned than Blue Book or Project Sign were. The broadening in scope to underwater objects is pretty interesting in of itself. I wonder if this is due to an increase in sightings of USOs?

Not all of "these things" operate in silence. I spent 1year researching high strangeness in the San Luis valley of S. Colo.
And some UFO seemed to hum, whine or put out a very low frequency rumble. If you buy the beer and sandwiches; I'll take you to a place where your consciousness will change forever.

imo, this phenomenon isn't nuts and bolts but mystical beings pretending to be something the earthlings can understand.
But apparently their brand of sentientness gets lost in the translation.

We could also swing by Dulce when in the Valley and 4 corners if you like. There be skinwalkers and Kachinas' up on the rez.

I'm pretty sure that a few of the videos that have been released over the last couple of years showed UFOs first flying through the air before they descended into the ocean and traveled at the same rate of speed through water before exiting out and entering the skies again. That's why they are changing their names and terms to combine UFOs and USOs together. They are not limited to air or water. Not knowing how to categorize these unknown objects has been part of the problem with reporting inside the military
