Fortunate for all the believers of eugenics eh? Selective breeding is so 1940’s eh?
I am for taking the disable and making them abled I not for taking the regular and making them ubermensch. Sadly the two can never be exclusive and to
get one you get the other.
Editing someone’s genes without their consent (they can’t give it because they don’t exist until you make them) is a ethics nightmare. Pretty
much the only way it would work is if they were considered property and not people which is what will happen to certain augments intended for work and
production.
This isn’t the bright future you think it’s going to be. It’s going to be less selecting your babies height and eye colour and more selecting
what traits to instil in your sub human work force.
You assume this is going to be for the enhancement of humans when in reality it will probably be used to dumb them down shape and control them.
