I Am Poor Financially

I am a elderly person; I live off of my retirement money; it is not much 14 thousand a year; but I make do.

I watch free TV and some of the ads I am angry about. They pressure to pay 19 dollars a month even if we cannot afford to pay it.
They put the pressure on.

I remember several years ago when I was young; the elderly were pressured to to give money to all the preachers on TV and in the churches and anywhere else they could think of'; those elderly people ended up eating fried dog food and a potato.

Ya gee we would like to but we cannot afford it. Yet they still want us to pay...and the people promoting that attitude are wealthy...movie stars and such.

Ads are the devil.
People have figured out that can make a quick buck by any means, and they do it- there's no morality involved with money.

I hope you manage to keep doing alright on 14k a year- I don't know a single person who can pay their rent alone for that, forget food and bills.

I can relate to your post. I won't say what my income is, but I only have Social Security and I get a Japanese pension of about $69 a month. Can I make it... have too. No car, just only a bicycle, good set of legs and the will just to say " this is just how it is ' now. Not sure how life will be when I return to the States, but I'm sure I'll have a bike, tent and a sleeping bag. I heard rents are expensive now. Although I'm a US Veteran is good standing, I'm sure I'll be asking for some kind of assistance in their outreach program for Veterans.

I get a good deal on my rental contract; plus I am a good tenant and I live under the protection of a business that is low income housing and rent.

One of the reasons I left case management.

I could not take the poor treatment of Veterans and American citizens that had fallen on hard times, while they were handing out money and services to illegals, like is was penny candy.

The economy grows, the world shrinks.
Our holdings are diminished by the day.

I can't stand people who'd part the elderly from their wealth but it seems it's encouraged which leads me to suspect there's a backward greediness that infects society.

On the bright side if you do find yourself eating dog food you can record it and upload! People love watching stuff like that, you could eat like royalty off camera!

I am a young adult. Has no degree, no job (due to plasticdom of the world), no romance, nothing. But soon I will have them.

Good thing that you are only "poor financially." There is still something to be grateful for, right. Try to feel what the Africans, the homeless people, the bedridden, and such are experiencing right now. Is it not great that you are only "poor financially" while they are poor beyond money, without home, without food, without relief, without anything to help them. Be more grateful even if it is just a small thing. There are lots to be grateful after all.

Leave your hate behind for you are trying to compare yourself with people that are well-off. Try to compare it with those who have nothing and you will see how much narrow your mind is. This is a fact that you must remind yourself.

Awakened now? Then, that is good.

Stay in place. Do not move back to CONUS. You will see soon enough.

Oh I have been there, no home no money no one to help me just the outfit on my back my prayers to Heaven and Jesus brought me through; I am grateful to Heaven and my friend Jesus.

Good thing that you have found peace with Jesus.

Still, don't change your view with God by the deeds of those selfish churches, seeking only the richness of their followers.

Just be grateful for everything. Just don't entertain then those TV commercials, they are deceptive after all.
