I still think this is the inverse of when a father would notice his son was a little "girly" and force him into things like football to make him more "manly". Only this is more sinister because instead of trying to make our kids into men or women by forcing them into acting a certain way, we're putting them in narrow gender/sex boxes and trying to get medical science to shape their bodies into the form we think they should have. It's way more damaging long-term.

If my mom waged a bit of a war trying to get me to play with dolls and wear dresses until she gave up, there was no lasting damage done. If she had played along and put me on puberty blockers, dressed my like a boy, called me Andre, and eventually signed me up to a double mastectomy and bottom surgery all before I was 18, there would be enormous problems given that I am not and never have been a boy in the face of who I am today and the life I am happily living now and deeply satisfied with.

Still the question is unanswered.

I’m happy for trans-gender people to think, feel and believe whatever they choose. However, I will not reject basic scientific factual reality in order to validate their fantasy.

Even children need to learn Santa clause isn’t real at some point.

I have two people in my life who are Transgender Women.

I love and care for both of them dearly.

But they are simply men who are Female Presenting, they still retain their biological makeup and equipment, and nothing will ever make them a true Woman.

I respect them enough to use their prefered pronouns and treat them as the sex they present themselves as, but I will never consider them to be True Women.

I think the new psuedoscience trying to overwrite traditional biology is just blurring the lines and making 99% of people who identify with their biological sex outraged, because it's trying to force all of us to conform to the perceptions, fantasies and feelings of the 1% minority.

Not to mention the fact that they're currently pushing the psuedoscience to the forefront instead of using traditional concepts of the Psyche (which is gender neutral and operates on a spectrum for the majority anyway) and instead trying to rewrite and override the reality of traditional biology.

It's a small minority demanding a complete overhaul of not only their own bodies and minds, but everyone else's as well.

The fact that they are pushng their ideology on children angers me to no end.

I say that as someone who has experienced gender dysphoria twice in her life, once around the age of eight and the second time in my mid-20's.

It was an interesting thought experiement to consider, but I wasn't willing to make permanant hormonal and surgical changes because I know I'm more than my genetalia and what clothes I wear. This entire gender identity movement is being amplified and pushed on people and children when there are much more important things that we should be using our brainpower to solve and address.

But sheep are sheep and the foolish will jump on the next big thing no matter how ridiculous it is because it's easier than taking accountability and accepting the harsh realities of life.

We are a Nation in decline, everyone obessing about fantasies instead of being accepting of facts.

The Powers That Be are making billions off this movement, and getting their jollies off at the same time.

Vanderbilt has disgraced itself over trans surgeries. The clinic is turning complex treatments into a money-spinning operation

Healthcare in the United States is big business, and that includes gender clinics. For all their faults — I reported on them recently — NHS Gender identity Clinics are free at point of use. Not so in the US. The patient (or their insurance company) pays.

The Clinic for Transgender Health at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Tennessee got on the gravy train in November 2018. Assistant Professor Dr. Shane Taylor explained that “these surgeries make a lot of money” and charged “female to male chest reconstruction” at $40,000, while a patient “just on routine hormone treatment that we’re only seeing a few times a year could bring in several thousand dollars”.

According to Taylor, gender reassignment surgeries — “huge money makers” — could support an entire clinic. “These surgeries are labour intensive,” she said, requiring “a lot of follow up time and they make money for the hospital”. Up to $100,000 each was her estimate.

What is the target market? According to an archive copy of Vanderbilt’s website, Taylor’s “areas of expertise” include Adolescent LGBT Health Pediatric General Practice.

A cursory inspection of Vanderbilt’s website gives no indication of their services for under-18s. In fact the clinic’s web pages are currently unavailable following recent media scrutiny in the United States

Already on the spot for a long period of time and thanks to the efforts of Matt Walsh and that dailywire their reaffirming surgeries for minors have been suspended.

Cutting off parts of your body and starting hormonal 'therapy' is dangerous and doesn't change your biological sex.

The term gender identity is just a fantasy entertained by the woke culture.

You have avoided answering. Either you do know or you don't.

I have a daughter that was diagnosed ADHD back in 1970. Can't tell you how many times I've been told all she needs is a good spanking.

Now I'm raising my Autistic - High Functioning grandson. Can't tell you how many times I've been told all he needs is a good spanking.

It's something I dealt with/deal with 24 hours a day for years.

But people like you think you know more and have all the answers. You don't.

ADHD was once new. It took time, effort, trial and error to find the best way to help these children.

Now the same with Autism / high functioning Autism.

Both are neurological disorders -- and hereditary.

I've had to deal with lots of people like you over the years.

I don't know if you are referring to me or to other members.

What you have just told us has nothing to do with the questions asked or with the topic of the thread but anyway.

I am quite confident that there are only two biological sexes and nothing else. And have never seen someone who has changed his/her biological sex.
