Five cars rented by Biden's Secret Service burst into FLAMES in Nantucket

The vehicles that went up in flames were rented by the U.S. Secret Service during President Joe Biden's Thanksgiving vacation to Nantucket

Fire happened Monday in the parking lot of the Nantucket Memorial Airport – just one day after the president left the island to return to Washington, D.C.

The flames were just 40 feet from the airport's 25,000-gallon jet fuel tanks

One of the vehicles, a Ford Expedition, is under a manufacturer battery recall

The incident is now under investigation

Odd, just odd. There's pictures at the article. So many questions on this one. The speculation is all over the place on this one...

Well electric cars tend to burst into flames at the drop of a hat, and burn for a long time at about 5000 degrees.

Yes, and had these been electric cars that would be an easy to digest answer. They were not.

Not suspicious at all. multiple cars... interesting...

The connection to the Secret Service and President Biden, however, put a national spotlight on the story and the island, while fueling conspiracy theories about the fire.
While the official cause is undetermined, officials have focused on a white Ford Expedition as the initial source of the fire. That vehicle was under a safety recall by the manufacturer due to a faulty battery junction box that has caused fires elsewhere. While it had been scheduled for service under the recall, sources said, it had not been repaired.

It seems a bit of a stretch to turn this event into a conspiracy theory IMHO.

I think it's more likely the Ford erupted in flames that engulfed the surrounding cars. If it was sabotage, the perpetrators need to find another line of work.
