To stop Spain you need to destroy their Tiki-taka passing. That involves charging, sliding, tackling... the Germans just need to avoid doing so in the penalty area.

Either Spain's pressure will tell or Germany will score on the counter.

It's tight.

Well deserved yellow card.

Tight game.
Germany are playing a lot better than their last game and are shutting Spain down quickly.
But Spain have some quality players who can change the game in a second.

Could go either way.
Germany really need a win....as the game goes on I can see Spain catching Germany on the break?

Pre-VAR days, that goal would have been given 10 times out of 10.

I think Germany are still in it. They're interrupting Spain's flow, causing them to play a lot dirtier.

There were some moments in the beginning of the game where Spain was really aggressive searching the contact. Lot's of energy from their side though so things like that happen.

Saw them slowing down a bit, technics are good on both teams I think in the last minutes a lot of it will come down to condition and stamina.

Good game so far.
