The Sun snake was spotted by the European Space Agency's Solar Orbiter last month slithering across the face of Sol , it probably isn't a real snake as astronomers are saying it's just plasma moving with the Sun's magnetic field but "Swamp Gas" explanations are 2 a penny.

The solar snake allows scientists to see the magnetic field moving, but it's what it's moving away from that makes it even more intriguing.

Shortly after the filament carved its path across the Sun, its starting point erupted in a coronal mass ejection, sending plasma blasting out into space.

These eruptions are usually associated with sunspots, regions of concentrated magnetic field lines on the Sun. These magnetic field lines tangle, snap, and reconnect, producing coronal mass ejections and sometimes solar flares.

It's possible the snake was somehow connected to one of the most powerful detected by Solar Orbiter since it was launched in February 2020, perhaps as a precursor to the eruption.

Looks almost like some type of an electrical ark.
Maybe there is something to the Electrical Universe Theory after all.

If it was an actual snake the scale of it would make it an actual planet eater

As the sun rotates, the magnetic field at the equator moves at a different speed to the magnetic field at the poles. This causes the field lines to be stretched and eventually to break and have to have its connections re-made. It is this field making and breaking that causes a lot of solar effects like prominence's, sunspots, flares, etc.

Very cool display of energies following twisted field lines.

*puts tinfoil head on*

It's a UFO dashing around and what we see is the plasma caught in it's wake.

Time for a new movie, snakes on a plane was a letdown.

The snake is long, seven miles. He’s old and his skin is cold (somehow).

Makes me think that all of our ancient cultures were obsessed with snakes. Maybe this is what they were referring to?

Quetzalcoatl in Mexico - feathered serpent
Surpent mound in Louisiana - pointing directly at the sun
The serpent in the bible
The legend of the Iroquois serpent
Theirs carvings of serpents in turkey - somewhere close to Gobeklitepe
Egyptalso mentioned them

There's more but I can remember them

Maybe the serpent is about phallic symbols and nobody had the guts to word it like that.

Think about it.

It's a dragon....a plasma space dragon...we're all gonna die!!! 😬

Seriously, that's a really cool capture. Thanks for sharing.

They couldn't see the image (and neither could you, actually.) That's not done with visible light photography.

I think they represent Comets After watching Ancient Apocalypse.

My assumption was based on the ancient people not being so caveman like, like we're lead to believe, and maybe were actually more advanced than us.

It's the lizard peoples God on flat earth, so don't worry the sun doesn't shine at night and the snake sleeps too...

But they had magic mushrooms. So you really dont even need to see it, just be ok with it being there and make a kick ass mound.

Way cool! And a little freaky-deaky. What did Bohm say about plasma?
