Being broadcast now. I'll just post the video. It's dark here so I don't know about damage, but it appears that there is no tsunami , so that is good news. It's a weird quake since it covers a large area.

Fiji and NZ too. The Fiji quakes were quite deep.

I'm on the other side of the Pacific and 24 hours ago there was a strange disembodied hum all around when I went out to view the eclipse. I've read a little about this hum preceding quakes, but I'm quite far away from these. I'm wondering if one is getting ready to go closer to me.
