Peter Davenport posted that he is hoping to connect with some Pilots whom recently witness quite a display of lights seen while flying over the mid west. He says this subject was talked about on a channel used called "Guard" radio frequency.

REQUEST DIRECTED TO ALL AIRLINE PILOTS AND COCKPIT CREW MEMBERS

On the morning of Monday, November 7th, NUFORC received a seemingly quite credible report from an airline 1st Officer, who reported having witnessed, together with the aircraft’s pilot, a very dramatic display of lights over the Midwestern United States during the prior evening. Moreover, several other flight crews allegedly reported the same event over their backchannel, so-called “guard,” radio frequency, and apparently discussed the event extensively over the course of an estimated 20-25 minutes. If any person who is reading this advisory statement was witness to a dramatic sighting event during the evening of Sunday, November 06th, or alternatively, is aware of a flight crew member who witnessed the event, we would welcome a detailed written report from the witness(es), submitted via our Online Report Form. We guarantee that your personal or contact information will not revealed publicly. Thank you.

I will update when and if any new posts become available.

121.5 MHz and 243.0 MHz.

243.0 MHz is guarded by military aircraft. Both 121.5 MHz and 243.0 MHz are guarded by military towers, most civil towers, and radar facilities. Normally ARTCC emergency frequency capability does not extend to radar coverage limits.

When I was flying or at sea I would always monitor the guard freq.

Just one other possibility…..

Live ATC

You can listen to live ATC comms…..

Even the Guard freq’s I believe ….and even archived chatter from previous dates…..

Requires some effort to navigate and filtering down to where you might want to get…

HA!
Here's another pilot. Hi! How do ya do?

Those controllers up in the Midwest are either incredibly grouchy or incredibly friendly. Regarding contacting them, YMMV.
I used to fly in that region before I migrated to the Appalachian area, that's where I had my orb sighting in 2011 but not while in a plane. I saw one over a lake on the ground, about 2000' in the air--it was orange and red fluctuating (rotating?) and before disappearing, it turned turquoise and shot vertically at an unbelievable speed.

Weird stuff in the Midwest. Weird stuff down here too, just a different flavor.

ETA,
Not a commercial or airline pilot. Just a loser in a two seater.

I don't know. 99% of pilots I sighted were USAF SAC.

I've "ran into" a few of those. But what about the other 1%?
Airship drivers?
That weird guy in the gyroplane?
