Cool thanks for your posts.

My curiosity is of two things with the goggles…….first, what you see during the night pointed to the trees where you’ve seen the numerous set of lights..,,presumably the eye shine of cat’s and second…general observations of the night sky.

Yes I would like to get my hands of the Vietnam NV starlite scopes with the red phosphorus imaging intensifier tube as well…..I guess it could be considered a holy grail given a limited amount were fielded.

Yeah….I posted that on the first page of this thread…Fascinating isn’t it?

Here is a manual (also downloadable in PDF for free) that covers 3 versions of NV scopes used in Vietnam…..including parts lists and diagrams.

Although “red” phosphor screen image intensifier tubes are not listed…..there is no mention of what color the phosphorus is ☹️ I assume colors are not mentioned but assumed to be green.

Something did happen "coincidentally".

This mornimg I had a dream with a very bright colour in it. The first time I had a dream with colour. Normally black and white dreams.

Guess which colour.

I have to go to work in a few minutes, so pressed for time.

Those eyes were not living cats. A dozen cats purched on thin branches? Nope.

Im suspecting if the nam interview is real, they did not see "demons" - gargoyles come to mind.

How about “gremlins”? WW2 pilots observed these gremlins on flight missions, some were actually benevolent, most seemed to be not.

I read a story about a pilot in the 60’s? Flying a large cargo plane and a Gnome, Fairy, or Elf was sitting on the windshield looking forward like it was on a ride, snow and wind didn’t affect it like it was in a different plane of existence.

I cannot find that story for the life of me now.

"Gremlins" works.

Another thing I saw in the middle of the night was a 2 or three foot tall critter plastered on the outside of my bedroom window. It looked like the "bad gremlin" from the movie of the same name.

Accompanying that experience was a pain in the centre of my chest like the critter was focusing on me to cause the pain. I watched that one until it disappeared. Oddly the critter pixelated as it disappeared. Suspicious.

The little fella who was rumaging through the box was tall enough for me to see the top of him over the foot of of the bed. Oddly he had a pointy head like a gnome's hat. That one had the tingling electrical feeling. When he moved closer the tingling moved up my body correspondingly.

The two encounters took place in a certain type of lighting. Very low indirect lighting. Low where the colour vision does not work and one sees in shades of grey.

I think the lighting is important. I dont know much about the mechanics of eyesight to know what part of the eye is sensitive or sees in monochromatic light.

Perhaps a reader who can explain might chime in here.

I will say this

I have been involved in the so called Occult for at least 15 years now. I can't believe it's been that long.

No demon has killed me. I don't summon dark spirits. I don't even evoke demons.

My point is, my ritual system does sometimes evoke or attract entities.
In a roundabout way I am trying to acclimatize people to the idea of the Other Side.
It doesn't have to be Christian.

I do 'Magick' for self evolvement. I work on my Qi, i do asana, and dharana. that is Yoga. I also do Egyptian or even Hebrew mysticism. That would be qabalah.

Anyway, long story short I had one or two encounters with those shadow idiots and I think it's just a bunch of grumps stuck in the astral dumpster trying to torment people because they cant get out.

You should read the Robert Monroe astral travel books.

On the tree of life, the astral is in Yesod.

Maybe the dicyanin screens are meant to dim the colour vision (cones) and brighten the monochromatic vision (rods).

We are trained to use colour vision and not so much night vision.

The aura seeing exercises may be designed on this principal.

Learn to see monochromatically???

Its an odd one. Mine are all b&w. Plus sometimes a sooty mist in the atmosphere.

I wonder if psychologically speaking, dreams are linked with vision as per the rods and cones of the eyes.

Maybe my dreams are input via the rods, and yours are input via the colour vision cones?

I bought two eBay cheap NV toys to experiment with……the goggles are based on your garden variety NV security cameras….no intensifier tubes. It has a single LCD screen. Two color modes…green and white. I bought them to see if I can tap into a red screen mode, if the electronics support it but not enabled. To my surprise one of them appears to have been modified to show Red and Blue screen’s! I have to tear them down for what I have in mind to do. It’s a WIP.

This “toy” which is not bad for NV, up to 50ft….is only to have been sold with both white and green modes.

Below are the colors I get….basically white and RGB.

I’ve yet to use it for paranormal and UFO hunting.

LOL: B&W TV as the cause of monochrome dreams. Well, age wise i would fit in there. Still i shall keep looking into how dogs see in B&W. Dogs often react to things we can't see.

If so, then the inexplicable dog attacks on children where the family dog bites a child, could have some basis in dog vision.

If a gremilin sits on the child's shoulder, the dog may see it and attack the gremilin to protect the child. Teeth would go straight through the gremlin hitting the child. Dog gets destroyed for protecting child.

The NV looks interesting. Let us know how you go. I'll keep up the dicyanin on my end.

Not to derail thread, but why do these gremlins, elf’s, shadow idiots or whatever. all seem to be wearing some sort of hat?
