I got "canceled" by facebook

Just as FarmVille killed MySpace, so too will an exodus from Facebook occur once something draws users from there to the new thing.

MeWe is customizable enough to just have friends as your feed or you can add groups. Purge a group if it no longer appeals. And that is a powerful draw…however, it is very quiet without the metrics feeding you and trolls stirring irate responses.

I have MeWe, but rarely look at. I’d rather spend my energy here.

If you violated their terms its not cancel culture, it is a choice you made that had consequences.

I agree, but it's not quite that simple. When TOS is being rigged in favour of a narrative, or at the least the interpretation being twisted and stretched to fit, then it really is cancel culture.

If you are attacking people based on their appearance, then there is nobody to blame except yourself when you get suspended. But if you are not allowed an opinion or self determination to not take a medication, that's unfair and completely wrong, especially as it's a double standard, as they don't ban the pro-vaxxers. Or the clamp down on calling groomers groomers, and criticising other negative and toxic behaviour that the woke cult deems righteous and protected. I am certain that most, if not all sites have a TOS that forbids the harm of children. Yet when we call out those who are harming children, the TOS always seems to protect the abusers.

If folks want to speak this kind of stuff, there are outlets to do that, but FB has zillions of people and figures. They figure have a responsibility to not add misery to those already miserable because society, through no fault of their own, marginalizes them.

People are mocked every day... They have just chosen "Who" can be mocked. Christians, Conservatives, Republicans, and White Men are fair game.... right?

All the time. It is really no big deal. This has been happening to me for many years. Especially when I was writing as a journalist and posting my articles.
I say things that I would never say here. lol
I am always shocked when I can go a week and am not in jail.

Given what Trump said about Twitter i.e that is no longer going to be run by radical left wing lunatics and maniacs, you could reflect on the fact that social media have been hijacked in the vast majority of cases by the left wing activists and ideologists.

Facebook are not any different.
They have suspended the account of Dr Malhotra twice as he was referencing his publication on the dangers posed from the vaccines and was very critical about the current narrative. He was also suspended (the second time) for sharing a post in regards to Dr Ladapo the State Surgeon General in Florida who has recommended that 18-39 year old males should not use the mRNA products due to the increased risk in cardiac deaths they have observed.

The main platforms promote a range of the most absurd and ludicrous ideologies that are inconsistent with science and common sense

1) The vaccine ideology
2) The transgender ideology
3) The climate change ideology

Those who promote them are usually activists with no relevance in any fields of Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Medicine. Those who believe them are similar in terms of academic education, knowledge and experience.

You can get easily cancelled on these platforms as they promote whatever narrative and demand everyone follows. If you don't then your account will either be suspended or banned.

But do you really want to be in a platform where there is massive censorship? On the other hand it's great when a platform is exposed and the more out there to expose it the better it is. They have no power if members decide to abandon FB.

with this accompanying video, which I know other Facebookers have also had removed 'shadow banned' for posting. Apparently my 'shadow ban' is for my 'hate' speech!!!

Wear it as a badge of honor. I was banned multiple times. Once for discussing my time in Mexico and crossing the border, or saving illegals pro BP left in the brush in South Texas. Was not an opinion, was what we encountered on horseback around McAllen TX and Rio Grande City, and the chained immigrants in houses in my neighborhood for ransom and child trafficking or prostitution. The truth hurt too much I guess . If they ban you you know you are speaking the truth.

FB said it was something about covid, but no idea what it was, maybe, some videos or scientific paper link years ago, cuz I don't use fb anyone, really.

Yeah it's funny what is all right to say and what can get you banned. I miss the times when people could give their opinion and it was up to the reader as to whether it was right or just rubbish. Now we have to have speech monitored. Questioning covid was a big no no for a long time even talking about Hunter Biden's laptop would get you banned, even a newspaper that had been around forever was censored because they chose to publish a story about the "wrong" side. Now had it been trump pee tapes the story could have remained. One sided censorship is never a good thing, or I for one at least look forward to Musk taking over Twitter and allowing both sides a chance to be wrong, as it should be.

I've had multiple 30 day bans and just had a 7 day ban on the 21st for using the word c**t in a post. Not even directed at anyone.. this time.

During the coronahoax I got a 30 day ban for replying to a silvertop with just a sheep emoji. Bullying and haressment, apparently!

I have multiple accounts on there (all with false info), so if I really 'need to' I can continue on. No skin off my wotsit.

Someone said, " I cancelled myself" and perhaps I did.

The day or two before, I was plastered and had the strongest earge to delete my account. I had 248 "friends" online, only a dozen cool peeps I chill with, but, the news feed is always garbage horsewash.

Perhaps, there is something to say about the subconcious, have a strong urge conciously, then get beyond plastered, blackout... almost, then say stuff you don't normally say outloud. for years

Yo, like some "special" people all look the same, drags do as well, ton of same looking faces, see same 2-3 variations, all depending how crucked they have to make their faces look from being masculine. Some strangeness.

But, I prefer to rise above, the hate and the love (IM), don't bother.

In short, I'm happy and cool with being banned, hopefully for the ultimate good, for my sanity atleast, when logging on usually

This is terrible. FB ads just charge me 85 dollars!! Wtf!

I haven't used fb ads in years. There were no pending payments. This is outright fraud and thievery. Can you guys believe this?

They cancel my fb account and now that I'm being kicked off, they are stealing from me.

In order to even access fb ads or fb in general, they now want me to upload my freaking id card, to prove its me, which I absolutely refuse to do for privacy reasons.

This is appalling. I opened disputes for each of the payments they stole and only one was refunded. Now I need to wait to see if I'll get the rest.

I need every bit of money atm. This is a disaster.

I'm in a trucked up position, as I don't know if my facebook ads manager account has been hacked or not, or if perhaps I was getting banned for posting some stuff on covid, as the message changes. First it said something about covid violations, now about child exploitation images. Just chill, regardless, I can't login to facebook or ads manager without first uploading my id card

That aint happening. Never. Nor now can I even log in to see if maybe I've been hacked for some #! I might have been hacked, but I won't prove it to myself by having to upload my #ing id for a fb account. I know, they have my phone number, they know who I am, and I'm sure its just stupid dumb #, just upload your id card and cancel and download your account, but #, I refuse to do so. Bull#.
