I'm wholly indifferent to their recognition or lack thereof of the legitimacy of Kosovo, but I am not going to be happy if my business dealings with Serbia are affected.

US foreign policy is nothing more than a protection racket. If you don't play along you will suffer economically or militarily. The gangsters call the shots one way or another. Sadly there is no accountability where the US is concerned and the world suffers accordingly.
