Soaring US dollar spreads pain worldwide? that is "Bad situation"

I noticed some who were suggesting that a soaring USD dollar is a good thing.
Actually the reality is that a Soaring/Rising USD dollar is economical never a good thing for your economy.

Considering when you have certain polices that your country had placed agaisnt another for their conflict/war and you know fairly sanctioning a oil rich nation whatever its Russia,Saudi Arabia doesn't work well.

With the Euro falling.

It also increases the import prices of goods. Something is surely wrong in the world these days.

If you have a boatload of debt, and an income that will match inflation, you might do alright as your loans get easier to pay while your net value skyrockets.

If you own nothing and make car payments, rent your home, work for minimum wage... You're #ed. Have been for years, but now it's about to get really bad.

Started the minute Jotato got a pen and rescinded everything that was working.

"Soaring" dollar? Who comes up with these Orwellian terms?

The only thing "soaring" about the US Dollar is the quantity in circulation. Do you remember when we used to call that "inflation?" Remember when inflation meant the value of the dollar was going down?

I guess "soaring" has been redefined, like so many terms recently. Now, taking a dive is also soaring, just in the opposite direction.

I guess what this article is trying to spin is that our fiat currency just isn't "soaring" down as fast as some other fiat currencies. The obvious solution is to print more money to increase our inflation and give it to other countries to reduce theirs. That way we're all soaring down at the same rate and will reach the bottom at the same time.

The US dollar has actually been surprisingly strong compared to other currencies for a while. Probably because some places locked down way too hard but didn't have the economy to support it. A record amount of inflation did occur in the US recently, and other countries with weaker currencies have experienced even more inflation.
