Putin broke The Budapest Memorandum.
He invaded Ukraine - as has been pointed out, how could Ukraine 'invade Donbas'?
Putin is President for life.
Putin has amassed a personal fortune of between 400-600 Billion Dollars on a salary of around 100 grand a year.
Putin has started several wars.
Putin imprisons and kills political opponents.

Russia has military recon satellites that see the damage even if Ukrainians do not release any pictures.

Welcome to ATS. You only started posting today, so let's hope you are not one of those propagandists who are quickly blocked for spamming drivel and deliberate misinformation, with the intention of disrupting adult conversation.

I thought I would pick on this post of yours, as this is a topic covered before. I attach an article which may help understand the poor state of Russian satellite capabilities, compared to (say) the types of satellite capabilities the Ukrainians undoubtedly have access to. The article's a bit dated, but don't expect Russia has remediated the situation in the last few months.

(Russian) Effective satellites are few and far between

According to experts and open-source information compiled by RFE/RL, Russia has long been saddled with a small and inadequate fleet of communications and surveillance satellites that in many cases rely on either outdated technology or imported parts that are now harder to come by due to Western sanctions.

The US is no saint either. The US continues to arm Taiwan to fight China despite recognizing the One China Policy and having no formal relation with Taiwan.

You mean defend against Chinese aggression?

Pretty sure Taiwan doesn't want to start that fight.

Taiwan does not want to start the fight, but Taiwan wants to end the fight by taking Beijing, no?

Taiwan wants to "take Beijing"?

News to me.

Got a source for that?

There is civil war. Anyway, the US should not do business with a state it does not recognize. Otherwise, it is not different than Armenia arming Artsakh despite not recognizing it.

What civil war?

What state?

Chinese civil war

If the US sell weapons to Taiwan, it is little gain now but big loss in future. China will have revenge. When China manufacture 7 nm chips, China will sanction American companies for selling arms to Taiwan, and the US will lose trillions in doing business with China for billions doing business with Taiwan = net loss of trillions.

Is that what you are being told to believe by the Chinese Communist Party? Reading from your list of permitted beliefs and things to say when taking to untrustworthy foreigners.

Apologies for going off-topic. Surprised ATS is not blocked by the Chinese censors, as the Tiananmen Square massacres have been previously discussed, as has the repression in the once free Hong Kong and Tibet, the genocide of the Uyghurs, and so on.

Let's get back on-topic, now that I've got the above off my chest!

No-one said the US is a saint.

...and the US will lose trillions in doing business with China ....

And the Chinese market economy that relies on those 'trillions' of dollars would go bust.
I can't imagine all the millions of Chinese who have come to rely on that for a wage and the lifestyle that goes with it being happy.
Long gone are the days when they were willing to work all day in a paddy field for a bowl of rice a day.

And this thread is about Ukraine.

There is a captured Lithuania made anti drone gun. They say it will be examined by experts.

While it is true Russians lack Javelin type anti tank missiles such as HJ-12, Raybolt, the advent of kamikaze drones made it unnecessary considering these have much better range and allows a man in the loop.

There is not basis saying Taiwan belong to mainland China, it`s a myth that Chinese propaganda has been singing decades.

When the CCP Thought Taiwan Should Be Independent

That's possible if war ends and a peace treaty signed. Personally, I'm all for Taiwan being a country, but given the current circumstance it is nowhere close to being a possibility as neither side wants an end to the war.
