Old folks get their knickers in such a twist over non-issues some young people talk about.

Ah yes, old folk gather round and talk down to them and then get outraged when young people don't respect you.

I find it quite amusing. But there does seem to be a pattern here... punks say stupid things to and about others, and then get all angsty when we laugh at them.

Like my niece's friend who came over with her once, never even met this kid before, but he thought it was a good idea to tell me how ugly my kitchen wallpaper is.... I laughed in his face before remembering my manners (not that he deserved my manners!). Then I very pleasantly said, "Good thing it's not your kitchen, eh?" But, yeah, um, he thought that was mean of me. And when I heard that later, I laughed even more!

But no worries! Youth is the best excuse in the world for pretty much anything. These kids will grow up and grow old and then they get to laugh at the new generations too. It's the cycle of life!
