I like that quote about 2 wolves living inside each person.

I see it as one wolf with the decision how to act.

Often times noble finds common ground with good.

There's a Jewish concept that says you start halfway between good and evil (yetzer hara and yetzer hatov) and must choose to move closer to good.

I see that can be widely comparable with moral behavior born out of mutual benefit and immoral behavior out of mutual detriment.

Even the wolf has a wolf morality. The cohesive pack stays functioning when hierarchy codes are obeyed.

To that beta wolf his wolf morality says "It's good to wait my turn because it benefits the pack. I choose to do what's most beneficial for myself and the group".

If the wolf god places the wolf halfway to wolf yetzer hara the choice to break the mutually beneficial code happens through upheaval of the social order. And if it does succeed in taking over the pack the same code will be retained and enforced on other wolves. Empathy and cohesion will return.

Now i realize humans aren't wolves and there is much more complexity to our version but I still see an organization principle on all levels of social code. That later is reflected in the "do the right thing" of more complex morality.

It's a complex thing indeed. For example I cannot stand to see an injustice committed by another person when I was a doorman at a club in my younger days I would rush full speed into a confrontation literally running into someone with my whole body no forethought of any kind and I would take pleasure inflicting upon someone that which they had done to another. My colleagues told me I always had this grin on my face when it happened. I just loved turning the tables on someone sadistic.

That's the burning plane crash reflex. It's almost universal for empathy to take over at ones own risk. Even total sociopaths will do it for the self-glorification hero rush.

But for empathetic people it's almost like your forced internally to assist distressed people. No matter the religion or culture. Or how they interpret why they did it.

But almost every one runs into an inferno at a person or even animal's cries.

The only difference from my morality and a Christian is the approach to the center point. I get there from bottom up, they get there top down. Different answers for why we both run into to danger to help distressed people.

Mel K is saying, "There is no left and right. There is no Republican and Democrat. There is a uniparty in Washington, DC, which is why the next election is so important. This uniparty is serving a different master than we the people . . ."

I've learned over the years that the left-right paradigm is a construct purposely created by the Deep State to keep us at each other's throats while they merrily go about their New World order agenda taking advantage of us being so preoccupied. This is accomplished through the complicit mainstream media.

Personally I would like to see in the future the abolition of parties and just have candidates for office.

This is a tricky one. I believe instinct takes over. Morality is instinctual regardless of personal religious conviction or lack of it.

However religion has been the inspirational framework for billions of people to be better and do the right thing by their fellow man. To live in a state of harmony. Sadly it has also been abused to facilitate exactly the opposite. And because it boils down to faith.... you'll just have to take my word for it.

Jewish people KNOW they are special in comparison to anybody else.

Christians KNOW they are chosen above anyone else.

Muslims KNOW that everybody else are 'kafir'.

And yet, they will all say in unison we are all God's children.

The essence of the human spirit is to belong and yet stand apart.

Visitors from outer space might look upon us and realize that our species are defined first and foremost by complete and total contradiction.

It is wise to be wary of us as we are still ruled by our most primitive desires. Ironically religion is about overcoming those primitive desires while harnessing exactly that which it proclaims to overcome.

That is the kind of thing that worries me about religion.

Religions are actually man-made, and include authority figures. Watch out.
