When a movie tells the future

We have all seen movies that hit close to home and reveal some future event either spot on or close enough to make you wonder. There was a movie spoof back in 1991 with Lloyd Bridges and IMO both he and the writers deserved an Oscar for this performance and story . youtu.be... Does the story remind you of someone ?

Well I knew idiocracy was a documentary but I had totally forgotten this one…✌️😂

DAMN! I couldn't even laugh at that. It just made me feel uncomfortable. One of those "would've been funny if it werent so true" kind of things, like a lot of the Babylon Bee articles now days.
