Maybe all y'all already know this musical prodigy, but I stumbled upon him by sheer luck.




Justin Johnson is my favorite musical discovery of 2022.


He does some excellent covers as well:

This fits perfect with today. I am at our local amphitheater winterizing it. 65 degrees, blue sky, warm breeze off the lake. And then this music.

Excellent bluesy with a Low D I can hear. I went to my piano (that I can only play chords), and found the lick.. It is very nice.

Great find! I especially enjoyed the last one; I'm a blues girl at heart. Makes me wish my picking days weren't over.....

I like it. I wonder if this is the same guy I saw a video of a couple years ago who was playing a guitar made out of a shovel. that one stand-up bass made me think of it.

does he have a home-made instrument gimmick? that classic car tail fin guitar looks cool.

Chris Stapleton did a cover with the lyrics that is awesome. I believe he got a Grammy for the Album it was on IIRC.
