Here in the UK patients have had operations cancelled and postponed due to pressure on the NHS due to COVID.

Referrals to consultants have also suffered due to pressure on GPs leading to missed early diagnosis.

Most of this was due to NHS staff shortages due to them testing positive.

This is quite a significant factor which can't really be ignored.

So there is that.

Indeed there is, hence my objections to lockdowns, mass testing and furlough of workers with my multiple posts early in the pandemic warning of these very scenarios. I also suggested it would lead to worldwide famine and energy crisis due to disruption of supply chains.

Didn't help that we inflated what turns out to be a mild respiratory virus into something akin to the plague and shutdown society. Terrifying people away from hospitals while at the same time reducing social contact, isolating the elderly and vulnerable from their families, causing depression and immunological problems with the youth due to isolation and a vast swathe of other problems.

Still, what do i know.

To be fair, i think they're right on every single thing they've ever said. I retract everything.

I think they're probably the most qualified, reasoned, honest, clever, spectacular specimens that grace god's green earth quite frankly. I mean look at them. Phwooooaaaaaar.

I wish i could be like them, i just suffer from a terrible, awful, horrible disease known as "mecanthinkitis", i just i wanna be like them, it just looks so easy for them. Imagine how easy it would be if you could just do no thinking at all and simply find anything that you presume "counters" logic. Maaaaan. They're blessed.
