Anyone else notice the lack of 9-11 memorial events it's barely being mentioned in the MSM

Every year since it's been a major deal this year nothing no letter agency announcing any kind of threats I just seems a bit quite to me .

Are we in for a surprise everyone is occupied with the Queens passing I smell something in the air .

It seems to me, if people remember 9/11, they may feel more patriotic. So then they may vote not Dem in Nov, can't have that at all.

Jk, or am i?

Lack of pomp doesn't matter, most people already mentally moved on 10+ years ago.

9/11 occurred 20 years ago; how long should the large memorial events last? When was the last time the country collectively memorialized the attack on pearl harbor?

The good old CT tried and true dance of:

On 9/11 memorials or mentions in the MSM and its "The warhawks just wont let this one fade away. They need to fabricate another war"

On 9/11 not many memories or mentions in the MSM and its "why no mention and so it begins"

Can you tell me what is the right amount of mentions or memorials for an event vs that is just history doing what history does.

The general ct consensus is this is not a drill, to be sure to bring in your tomato plants tonight.
It sounds serious.

For how many years did memorial events of Pearl Harbor, The Titanic and Columbine last?

9/11/2001 has it's place in the history books.

I stopped taking note of it since 9/11/2011, four months after Osama was killed because that's as much closure as we're going to get.

If another tragedy arises, one perpetrated by violent actors no less, should we designate a day out of every year to put the spotlight on their deeds?

If that's the case, that may embolden other ne'er-do-wells to make a name for themselves.

It's like retiring numbers on sports teams. Every day on the calendar will have some big event attached to it, to the point that you'll never have a normal life with a plain old Tuesday anymore. When that happens, the terrorists win.

The yellow ribbon bumper sticker movement was for a time when we could afford to dwell on it.

With the economy spiraling and World War lll hanging over us like the sword of damocles, there are more important things to concern ourselves with today.

Life goes on...

I would say, it is because they would all sleep better by pretending it never happened in the first place. Did they ever raid the Clintons, looking for 'evidence'? No of course not. Too many skeletons there, even for the FBI!....What about Jed Bush, and his role in 9-11? What about Hunter's laptop, and 'sleepy joe's penchant for young girls?....I would say, don't go there, unless you are protected or insulated in some way.

I remember standing in front of the TV early in the morning of that day here in NZ and feeling the dark pit of my gut fall through the floor... and it didnt come back up for a good couple of weeks.

But that was a long time ago now.... and the worlds got fresher issues going on. 9/11 had its time in the collective mind of the world, but that world has moved on, doesnt mean we cant personally continue to remember it if you really want too.

9/11 was a somber occasion that shattered the illusion that it could not happen here…and we said “We Will Not Forget.”

Currently we have another somber occasion of “Never Again” getting to happen here unchecked. I think this one is worse.

Even the most deep wounds scar over in time.

Pearl Harbor was, for my grandparent's generation, a 9/11 level event.

We should never forget, but we also need to move forward.

The question you should be asking: where did all the extremist/terror attacks go?.

It's almost like the threat of terror attacks was shut off...like a light switch. Hmmmm.

That's Because the More you Look at Something in More Detail you Begin to Realize what you Thought in the Beginning of it was Honest Factual Information just does Not Pass the " Smell Test " Years Later...........

its only natural every generation views the world differently, the younger generations just dont care about 9/11, that was our issue to deal with, not theirs. sure they were affected as children but all they see is how our ways hurt them, why would anyone value what hurt them?
