Terrorist Attack! In New Jersey

Does anyone feel these are just ways to get us prepared for FEMA taking over our lives. Kind of like the news conditioning us to be unsensitive to murder and mayhem. All we hear now days on the news is death and misfortune, superstar court trials, and weather. Not to mention the news being an instrumental force in placing the "terrorist" facade in our minds. People harming others to get across their opinions has gone on for years. Now all of a sudden "terrorist" want to kill Americans. I just feel that these ecxercises are nothing more than another way of conditioning the American public to feel "scared" and "unsafe" in order to keep control of a public that is turning against the government more and more everyday.

No terroist attack reported there... they are doing drills though. This is standard practise in most places I thought? They have to make contingency plans for the possibilites if terrorist attacks were to occur. This is prudent and should be commended as an effort to make people feel more secure. However this could also be a weapon of oppression used to strike fear in the citizens.

I choose prudence.

I don't think it happens too often and in many places. So I disagree it's ominous.

A basic knowledge of civil defense and procedures related to it can be quite beneficial.

Conditioning and the dehumanizing process has been going on for a long time. Not until recently, the late 90's and such did this take a more forward approach. Now violence is in every aspect of life, fromentertainment via video games impressing the youth, to television exploits of it all, and then the news media. The opposite of the hippy days is here, instead of spreading love, it is war...

Make war not love, seems to be the new agenda, one that is reaping the profits.

If it is not the people who will force a civil/revolutionary war of tomarrow it will be those who are behind the curtain that will. It is how they can and will gain total control, by allowing the ignorant to chain themselves, in the bonds of those who wish to control them.

Here's the big F'in joke on New Jersey.
They are practicing these terror drills, wasting resources on role playing, while 5 new jersey counties are actually under water, and more are threatened.

Why are the counties underwater, well, ask the Army Corps of Engineers, they are responsible, they started some flood diversion project some time ago, only due to their typical complete idiocy, the flooding is some 5 times worse because they never planned on where the flood waters would go while they damned it up. If the Army Corps of Engineers comes to your town, protest them away, they are incompetant.

By the way, this thread really should be called "Terror drills in new jersey" not terrorist attack, as that is very misleading.

I've often wondered why we as Americans, so easily excepted this ellusive enemy that can never be eliminated or even truly identified. It has always seemed to me, to be a vehicle that provides a way of labeling any undesirable that stands in the way of whatever agenda is on the table at the time.
It isn't a new tactic. the Romans certainly did it with the Christians and other dissenting sects and groups, during their day.

It's sad but true. "3 people died in a private plane crash, now for the weather." It's pretty pathetic, and I'm glad I'm not the only one who has noticed this.

I agree that this is another way to strip us of freedom. For those of you who maintain that this is to prevent terrorism, I have one question. How did the war games on 9/11 prevent 9/11 from happening? Seems more like it facilitated it to me...

The news latelly has been extraordinarilly thread bare... It reminds me of the snow job pravda used to try and pull on the russians back in the day.

It's just a drill

It is quite interesting to note that on September 11th 2001, the CIA and NORAD had a drill, where Terrorists would hijack commericial airlines using plastic box cutters and crash them into the WTC and Pentagon.

If i were you guys, i would be very scared next time there is a drill.

What about the unmention part where there are no traces of DNA of arab person on those planes, or the fact that some of the supposed 19 terrorist are still alive!!! Those stories are not mentioned anywhere but here or other conspiracy sites.

There are too many questions and not enough answers for me to believe that terrorism, besides state terrorism, exist.

One thing that is definite, those who sell weapons or are involved in selling weapons or supporting those who sell weapons are making a KILLING off of this WAR on TERRORISM.

They've had these kinds of drills for years. I got to participate in one (the "planning" stages) when I was donig some secretarial stuff for a fire department. It was interesting, but I sure don't see how anyone could use it to take over anything.

It was just folks there. Planning for disasters.

I think I'd have noticed if they brought in the mind control rays.

Having driven in Jersey...perhaps it needs to be taken out? Or at least the highways...

These drills are nothing new, just a bigger scope is all... We have them often here in FL too...

I find it mildly interesting that this week-long international "mock" terror drill begins in New Jersey directly after the region was hit with a record-breaking flood. Weather control, anyone?
